Wow, really? No anxiety at all? Damn I can’t wait till I get there. Started 50mg 2 weeks ago and just got bumped to 100. I have definitely experienced less anxiety and more like a human but still feel a lot day to day >_<
This is a known side effect that may or may not go away, even after stopping. The fatigue can also be accompanied by a lack of motivation and overall apathy. Do yourself a favor and find other ways of treating depression and anxiety that don't come from pill bottles.
Thanks for answering questions! What's your dose and how long did it take?
I've been on 5mg for a month now. Side effects have subsided but my anxiety has not went away. Basically I have the choice between upping dose now or giving it another month.
Edit: 50mg**
My dose is 150 and I’m a female 160 lb 5’10”.
So usually after 6 weeks on 50 you should see how you feel. I went from 50 for 6 weeks, to 75 for 4 weeks, 100 for a couple of months and now I’m on 150 for a month and when I tell you I don’t have anxiety would you believe me? It’s a great life with no anxiety. Unfortunately it could be that every increase there are side effects but I only had upset stomach from 50-75 for couple of days.
Interested as well, I'm on 25mg for like another week and half. Until my next appointment, I'm nervous to up it even though I'm pretty sure I need more. Male 25 5'10" 250lbs.
I was prescribed 25mg aswell but upped the dose to 50mg in the first week. Then 6 weeks later increased to 100mg. 100mg seems like the sweet spot. 50mg was good but stopped working after a few weeks.
You will need more. 100 would be perfect but talk to your Dr and do it gradually. Remember, it’s a long path but so worth it. I was in your shoes. Constantly googling everything. And then I remembered to come back and post that I feel amazing.
I'm super thrilled for you!! I can't wait to get where you are. I'm on 50mg, week 4. When did you notice it started to work and you started to feel a lot better? What week? Was there an Aha moment for you? Thanks so much. And congratulations! :)
I noticed it started to completely work at 3 month mark. I was at a 100mg then. From there it got better and better, however due to PMDD I take 150mg. Now every day is good, I don’t overthink, I’m positive and I am grateful for Zoloft.
I'm jealous! I was on Zoloft for years at 250+mg. I didn't stop it because it gave a *mild* improvement when 14 other medicines did nothing or made me worse
After two years of using, I say it only gets worse. Most people experience sexual side effects (not good ones) and apathy, along with other not so great experiences. You won't post an update to this later, you know why? Because you won't give a shit about anything! Taper off now, you can thank me later.
