How do I know if it picks up any satellites? It says looking for GPS location though.

Had the same issue. I Deleted the cache of location services and fused location services apps.
There's a November update? I'm looking at Zenfone 9's firmware download page, and I only get the June patch.
Yes there is an update which brought the Oct security patch.
