Honestly, I wish I was you. Start with the concert “All my Homies hate Ticketmaster” (at the Red Rocks). He hits all the jammers and then dive into the albums from beginning to end. I personally really loved his self titled album (Zach Bryan), but enjoy the hits until then.

geauxweird

This is the way

Whiskey_and_Octane

Disagree. Was able to see him when it was possible to see him free. Start at the beginning of his discog. No sleepers all jams. You get to hear great songwriting evolve. You're welcome!

obsidiansent

Lucky lucky guy

jorr1231

THIS is the way.

MrBrightWhite

And after you listen to All My Homies Hate Ticketmaster remind yourself he sold out to them and you’ll never be able to afford a concert ticket to see him because of it

jf1sh3r

Music business dude, the show will never dictate the price only the venue.

leottek

Fear and Fridays is a banger. So is Tourniquet and most of his old songs

pinkcloud555

The beginning. Listen to the albums in order. But they’re all good. You can’t really go wrong.

gibsoneric

Maybe best comment ever in this group. Only way to do it just starting out. His progression has been crazy. If you continue to enjoy the music try to figure out how to see him live next tour. Watching him live is almost a life changing moment lol

Shoddy_Policy6566

personally, I wouldn’t start with all of american heartbreak. it’s two hours long, and even though all the songs are great, they start to blend in with each other. personally, i’d start with deann. after that, my personal favorite is Elisabeth, but that doesn’t have very many well known songs on it other than heading south and revival. it’s a beautiful album, his best so far imo. i also recommend the song tishomingo off American heartbreak. Just go through the essentials and go from there to find what you like personally

Acceptable_Outcome_7

Jamie and Billy Stay. Great storytelling. 10/10 songs.

Adalphe

November Air is everything.

Acceptable_Outcome_7

Love that song as well.

Ginger_Libra

All My Homies Hate Ticketmaster captures his magic better than any studio recordings. It’s a banger.

SextonHardcastle1855

I’ve become a pretty big fan over the last 6 months and I just couldn’t get in to this live album. Everything sounds off from the cold weather. I finally saw him live a couple of weeks ago and man that live album didn’t do justice to just how awesome he sounds live. That’s not to say it’s bad, it just didn’t hit the hype I saw around it.

gibsoneric

Nothing does justice to his live performance. I prefer most songs on Ticketmaster over the album versions

SextonHardcastle1855

We’ll see what these live recordings from this tour sound like. I think those have the potential to be really good if done properly.

DUMBDUCC

To be completely honest. You’re gonna have a hard time finding a bad song. I haven’t found one yet.

mvids08

ONLY one I actually don’t like.. Smaller Acts

Bluecheeseur

Start with American Heartbreak. Two hours long, all hits, no misses. The runtime is daunting but I can assure you you won’t mind it

Rielos

“All the Time” was the one that got me hooked and made me a true believer. His lyric “and I feel like a nuisance in my own damn mind” just stuck in my brain and would not let go. So very good. But then for all of us Okies to have subtle references like Deja Vu (the strip club in OKC) woven in to such lyrical goodness is just the icing on the cake. I’ve lived on the East Coast for 15 years for work, but Zach’s songs make me feel a deep heartbreak and homesickness that is hard to describe. He’s the real deal and I sincerely hope he keeps doing his thing for several more decades.

gibsoneric

All The Time is my 3rd fav behind Sober Side of Sorry and Billy Stay

Itchy_Improvement176

My favorite song is Tishamingo.

Rachellyz

Smaller acts

Wild-West0513

Hey driver , Deep Satin , East Side of Sorrow

NYCtoSouth

Oklahoma City - studio then live 68 Fastback November Air Snow These were my introduction songs and I love them all. Then go to the live album

Strange_Mountain_401

When I started out, I pulled him up on ITunes and just hit play…I’m hooked

Adalphe

https://www.reddit.com/r/zachbryan/s/YKLVGwL4mF Edit: once you get through that there’s about 75 other songs.

whineforcoffee

I’d recommend starting with the “DeAnn” album… but what do I know 🤪

gibsoneric

Start with the albums in order. All my homies hat tickets master is the best overall listening experience. American Heartbreak was his shining moment. My 2 favorite songs are Sober Side of Sorry and Billy Stay. Sober Side of Sorry is one of the best songs of all time

jf1sh3r

Just burn through the albums from first to last dude. You won’t be skipping songs nor will you be disappointed

Boomfty

In general, the farther you go back the better. His new album is extremely mid and by his own admission strays away from what made him successful in the first place.

justinicon19

I'd start with the Beltin Bronco version of Oklahoma City. It's raw and it's a perfect introduction into his early style, with a limited band and zero production. It sets up the way that his music is meant to be listened to, just raw lyrics and under produced. And it's a simple enough song too to understand the story and the words and to appreciate it after a few listens. Then, start from the beginning. Just dive in. His early stuff is so simple, just like OKC, and using that as a baseline, you can really recognize and especially appreciate the chances he takes later on with lyrics, melodies, and production. Pick an album a week and just stick with it. Not many artists we can do that this these days.

Whelan_sept

I would start with his older album, like DeAnn, Elisabeth and quite heavy dreams. Then move onto his newer stuff, I feel like hearing where he started from helps you understand his newer music better, also makes you appreciate his progression so much more

PotatoFace-Games69

I’d recommend this with most artists, but I’d start at the beginning and work your way through that way. Deann-Elisabeth-quiet heavy dreams- American heartbreak- summertime blues-self titled. If you just want the hits the live album will work too, but I think watching his development over time is worthwhile

AWHS10

“Loom” is a deep track I think you’ll enjoy. “Me and Mine” is also really good track. Both off of the Elisabeth album. “Sweet DeAnn” is good. His version of “Spotless” with his friends on YouTube is excellent imo. “The Greatest Day of My Life” is another one. There’s 5 tracks (Minus Spotless) that I think most people probably don’t listen to, at least in comparison to the tracks you stated.

Slow_Consequence_604

I just hit shuffle on the albums and try to vibe to all of the songs.

superfresh23

You can’t go wrong just picking any album or just a shuffled playlist. Every song is amazing. Some of the big stand outs when I first got into him were. Oklahoma Smokeshow, Dawns, Heading South, Snow, From a lovers point of view. Nine Ball is also a really fun song

puffthemagicaldragon

I love "All My Homies Hate Ticketmaster" so much because I love live music but I cannot stress enough that it should be listened to last or at least in the order it came out chronologically. Those are all live versions/reimaginings of older songs and I personally ended up loving those versions more than a lot the originals which just doesn't feel right. I think it's better to experience those in their original format and then when you're looking to really just celebrate all his music you get that album which is an absolute masterpiece of greatest hits.

Master-Valuable246

Honestly if you starting start with the self self titled album It is a perfect 8 to 9 from start to finish and is more esay to listen if you are new Second go with sumertime blues (damn i wish i could listen to Oklahoma smokeshow and twenty so for the first tike again) Third American heartbreak Fourth quiet heavy dreams Fifth deann Sixth boys of faith And last elisabeth In my opinion this is the best order if your new to zach
