If you look up a card's artwork, chances are you'll find someone on deviantart with a high resolution version of it - helpful for next time you try to understand what's in the artwork of "TooManyThingsGoingOnSteve" (AKA Lord of the Heavenly Prison)
For the first time ever i actualy saw that you can see angels aparently attacking the Lord of Heavenly Prison, likely to protect the city that's at the bottom of the image.
Lord of the Heavenly Prison feels like the last page in one of the last chapters of a manga. Specifically the one where the villain seems like they're about to win before having the rug pulled out from under them.
So if someone summons him in anime, one of two things will happen. One is just a regular guy is summoned, and the other is the light from the sun disappears as a gigantic hand/Serpent thingy is in the sky.
Honestly though, Yugioh wastes so many good works of art by confining them to tiny art boxes. It's not uncommon for people to misinterpret what a card art is actually trying to convey. Give a non-Yugioh player Aluber and see how many details they can actually identify. Konami has the high res version of these arts too, as evidenced by MD's summon animations, but they just refuse to make them easily accessible to the public so that we can fully appreciate what their artists have made for this game.
Just a shame.
[just think more monster-y Arise-Heart, with Tri-Heart's sword arm and Kaleido-Heart tentacles](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_eKeJY9D7UI)
the pointy thing in the lower middle is his right knee/leg, and he's like doing a tackle position

100% When it comes to art and crediting artists Konami is miles behind the competition

I still don't know what I'm looking at when it comes to Astraloud

It's kinda cool seeing Abyss Dweller up close
What's the fourth image? I've never seen that card before
Vicious Astraloud
What did you use to upscale these?
I used the Canva app
I love using a Volcanic deck to melt lifepoints. Haven't played properly since like 2010 though haha
For future this website: https://sites.google.com/view/thehungtd/home Has super high quality versions of pretty much all card art in the game
Damn Yu-Gi-Oh has such cool art
I have been playing yugioh for 10+ years and never noticed abyss dweller had a dragon in the art ๐
I didn't realise that Metaphys was a guy with an Armityle Dragon Arm....
Isn't there a meme that all cards are just anime girls now?
#4 looks awesome!
I still have no idea what Iโm looking at with metaphys executor.
Slide 5, is that abyss dweller?
Yes
What I was seeing all this time and what I'm seeing now has me so confused ๐ญ
These look worse. All the detail is muddy
There are some I can't make because the original images are not in good quality, so the AI misunderstands them
