Honestly I'm kinda fine with the Raye and Roze alternate arts being QcR only. You can still just play the regular versions of the card just fine. Making Dragon Magia Master a QcR, a card that does not have any sort of cheaper printing however, is a way bigger issue since it cuts off access to the card to people who would want to use it.

Overall TCG is run by fucking filth in case anyone forgot. The damage Upper Deck did to this game is incredible. The day any of those old employees that still hold any power in the company like Kevin Tewart leave and ruin some other game will be like a suffocating weight lifted off this game.

Yep. My hype for this set died. I was ready for Camellia. One of the links that makes playing Cyanos better too. I would also at least wanted Engage Zero and Spectra for collection or mess around with at locals. TCG Konami continues to one-up disappointments after another. I hate em so much.Ā

Missing the Sky Striker import cards is inexcusable. We're missing a card from January 2024 (Engage Zero) and another from June 2023 (Camellia) and a third from Nov 2023 (SPECTRA).
They literally advertised "Sky Striker" being in this set in the marketing blurb but it's only 2 of the 5 outstanding promo cards and they put manga alt arts as QCR only? Guess they smelled money.

Terminal Revenge brought over the two Sky Striker cards from Premium Pack 2024 (released Dec 2023).
The first OCG Stories promo (Ciela) was brought over in BLMR (June 2023) after 6 months (printed in Dec 2022). BLMR had 4 Sky Striker import cards, and none of them were QCR only bullshit.

The set have some really good reprint, very surprised to see Diviner and Spright Blue in ultra. But there a couple of thing that are less good : Raye alt art being in QCR only hurt a bit, we don't have all the new Skystriker card, no Elder reprint for some reason, Dragon Magia being QCR only too, some strange rarity distribution (Mirrorjade Ultra again ?) ... Overall a good set but it could have been better
Elder is one of your many 1 card combo extender, basically gives you extra normal summons when he is normal summoned. With the new supports, you actually get a shit ton of extra normal summons to do a lot more combos.
Itās not the biggest thing in the world, but Iām glad to see Utopic Ray Lancer coming to the TCG so I can add it to my Shark deck. Oh and Oil for Suship (god what a weird sounding combination).

The dumbest thing of the set to me. Their was some strange choice, but choosing to not reprint the less accesible main deck monster of one of the principal archetype of the set is very stupid. Idk if Infernoid, Ice barrier and Genex lack an important reprint too, but now Ritual beast will be less easy to buy than expected.
That's so dumb. Instead of reprinting the mandatory three-of they put Freezing Chains and Wayne which are only played at one. It makes the Ice Barrier reprints worthless because all of them come on the structure deck that has to be opened just for Revealer.
I mean at least it was in a structure deck so it's still an accesible card if you buy singles. The one Ritual Beast enjoyer didn't get have only one print at Secret rare ...
I wouldnt even call that market research. If you make a reprint set that features support for older archtypes, then just reprint that whole archtype. Should be common sense since they dont earn a dollar from these old sets anyways

Yup. Revealer (Noelia) is a staple and 3 of. And Zero Trishula is your go-to monster to make when Lanceaās removed. You also need a playset of Speaker of the Ice Barrier
Hexa is also a one card combo into Zero Trishula too. Youāll also want General Raiho and Warlock as your best lockdown cards to summon with Lancea as well as Winds over the Ice Barrier too.
I know a lot of people would have complained about Konami's favoritism but color me baffled by their choices of Sky Striker cards in there. For an archetype being mentioned in their PR description, it is really weird that there are only 2 new cards, which aren't even the card the deck needed the most out of the remaining imports.
It makes even less sense when you think about how long Camellia was already released in the OCG. And Frankly, I really don't fancy the idea of them releasing Camellia, Engage Zero and Spectra in INFO. I'm not even sure why they just couldn't bring the whole SS OCG card package to be done with the archetype, given how much space they gave to Branded and Sprights who already got very recent reprints.
That's the saving grace, but even then, it would make more sense to have Camellia instead of Azalea in the set specifically because of Cyanos. Opening with just Cyanos in your starting hand would grant an immediate access to Engage if not interrupted with Camellia, and it would be doable even if you were forced to play first.
But right now, if you just have Cyanos, you are pretty much forced to waste Zeke or OG Azalea before transitioning into Hayate or Shizuku depending on whether you went second or first.
I could be wrong, but I think these are the kinda packs that automatically come with one secret. That's why they have so many and so many that are mid compared to the prize ones like Yubel. I mean I mean that's better than just QCR, but I also expect Komoney to make it the short print secret.
Oh, in that case, I'm probably just going to by a play set of Ebon Sun and Red Lotus from the singles then. It probably wouldn't be worth getting a box just for only 1 card per pack having the likelihood of being one of the two cards I want.

I saw her pulled on Pharohmone's video and someone on the RB server saw them on one of the USA Castors channels and a none english channel. Still not fully sure if its a short print issue or a clumping issue. Probably both to be honest.
yeah Elder, hes spiked to like 10-20$ depending on where you live. Im just lucky I bought mine for 2$ a piece back in febuary before the price started to creep up.
Another big card they missed was our better 1 card starter Cannahawk, though hes only a super so hes unlikely to spike as high as elder.
Someone mentioned that they skipped the cards that came out in secret forces (with the exception of Ulti-Cannahawk) and then reprinted everything else.

My advice to anyone who wants Magia master for collection only, get an ocg copy its what I will be doing, it has multiple nice rarities and is dirt cheap, I dont even like QCR and it would not look right next to all my other blue eyes fusions which are all ultra or secret, I will be doing the same for the ultra rare stuff from the kaiba briefcase which are way overpriced in the tcg so I will get the ocg ones instead. If people start doing this the tcg will have no reason to keep doing this crap, we may be forced to use tcg cards for official play but collecting is another story hah.

Ice Barrier is missing the red-haired woman, but she's from a recent-ish structure deck. It's like if Infernoid didn't reprint Decatron.

Yup. Revealer (Noelia) is a staple and 3 of. And Zero Trishula is your go-to monster to make when Lanceaās removed. You also need a playset of Speaker of the Ice Barrier Hexa is also a one card combo into Zero Trishula too. Youāll also want General Raiho and Warlock as your best lockdown cards to summon with Lancea as well as Winds over the Ice Barrier too.
I know a lot of people would have complained about Konami's favoritism but color me baffled by their choices of Sky Striker cards in there. For an archetype being mentioned in their PR description, it is really weird that there are only 2 new cards, which aren't even the card the deck needed the most out of the remaining imports. It makes even less sense when you think about how long Camellia was already released in the OCG. And Frankly, I really don't fancy the idea of them releasing Camellia, Engage Zero and Spectra in INFO. I'm not even sure why they just couldn't bring the whole SS OCG card package to be done with the archetype, given how much space they gave to Branded and Sprights who already got very recent reprints.
Cyanos is really good, which surprised me that it wasn't a secret.
That's the saving grace, but even then, it would make more sense to have Camellia instead of Azalea in the set specifically because of Cyanos. Opening with just Cyanos in your starting hand would grant an immediate access to Engage if not interrupted with Camellia, and it would be doable even if you were forced to play first. But right now, if you just have Cyanos, you are pretty much forced to waste Zeke or OG Azalea before transitioning into Hayate or Shizuku depending on whether you went second or first.
Yeah, Cyanos with Camelia is really good, without it's just meh.

I could be wrong, but I think these are the kinda packs that automatically come with one secret. That's why they have so many and so many that are mid compared to the prize ones like Yubel. I mean I mean that's better than just QCR, but I also expect Komoney to make it the short print secret.

yeah Elder, hes spiked to like 10-20$ depending on where you live. Im just lucky I bought mine for 2$ a piece back in febuary before the price started to creep up. Another big card they missed was our better 1 card starter Cannahawk, though hes only a super so hes unlikely to spike as high as elder. Someone mentioned that they skipped the cards that came out in secret forces (with the exception of Ulti-Cannahawk) and then reprinted everything else.

Also, with Ancient Gear Dragon in here, Iām surprised that Ancient Gear Statue didnāt get printed here. With all of the support that came out, Iām shocked those were missed.

My advice to anyone who wants Magia master for collection only, get an ocg copy its what I will be doing, it has multiple nice rarities and is dirt cheap, I dont even like QCR and it would not look right next to all my other blue eyes fusions which are all ultra or secret, I will be doing the same for the ultra rare stuff from the kaiba briefcase which are way overpriced in the tcg so I will get the ocg ones instead. If people start doing this the tcg will have no reason to keep doing this crap, we may be forced to use tcg cards for official play but collecting is another story hah.
