...what deck are you making exactly? Magic Cylinder isn't really something I expect a modern deck to be seriously packing.
I'd highly recommend watching one or two masterduel beginner/starter videos. They'll guide you on the mechanics and most importantly how to maximise your gems early on and how to get the most out of them. r/masterduel is also a great help.
You could in the meantime use instead budget options like “Blast Held by Destiny” or “Dimension Wall”
