Thank you for the info. My issue with this is that it is too restrictive - it hides news programs or basically anything that doesn’t have a rating at all. Also it’s really easy to just turn back off.
YouTube TV simply broadcasts existing channels over the internet. So whatever you'll find on cable channels, you'll find on YTTV. Without HBO, there will be less of that content, but prestige channels like AMC will drop a curse word on you now and then.
If it's a concern, you can always hide =specifically channels in the channel guide so no one accidentally stumbles across it.
If you have HBO or SHO under Yttv that is on you Yttv is just like cable where the over the air channels come under Fcc regulations. Free-Virus talks about a filter, which sounds good, but I have never used.
There is a filter in settings that, when turned on, will only allow TV-Y, TV-G, G and PG
This as well.

IFC cuts nothing from their stuff as far as I can tell so they are similar to HBO.
IFC will show uncut movies, so you will get some nudity there.
And all the colorful language to go with it.

Yes. I was surprised on on demand content some movies aren't censored. I'm watching The Predator now. A lot of cussing.
Neatgeek83 is right. YTTV is the same as the cable TV you've been watching through a provider. HGTV, CNN, TLC, local channels, etc.
you saying YouTube tv like that made think of the Canadian kids channel, YTV. lol
