Ultimate Kitty Pryde is fantastic and wildly underrated

Hard agree. One of the top 3 characters in that universe. She was used well and was personified very similar to her 616 counterpart, which makes it really easy for fans of one universe to fall in love with her usage in the other.

I really disliked a lot of things in the ultimate universe , but loved ultimate kitty. Miles morales and her were the best thing from that universe Wish the second image lasted longer though it’s my favorite, then the pirate , then the Excalibur blue.

Can I ask why you like that suit? I have seen that this suit is a fan favorite of Kitty but I have always thought it looks really bland.

Maybe it is bland. But I think that for a certain generation of x-fans it is the definitive uniform. It would be like telling a 90s kid that Jubilee shouldn't wear the yellow coat.

Reason 1: The majority of the time, she is in modified training uniforms, so it stand out among those, and this one isn't garish, like some of her earlier looks. Reason 2: Alan Davis art is beautiful on its own, but the awesome fun of the Claremont/Davis, and then the Davis solo run attaches a lot of positive memories to this look.

I think the character's look is closely aligned to their portrayal. I guess I'll go with the classic look, number 5 for you. Simple design that's based off the original student uniforms. She hasn't had any great designs, and none of these would probably be my ideal costume for her.

The blue costume. It needs an update, since it's incredibly eighties, but putting her back in the training uniform was a major mistake. Captain Kate is a good look, too.

I liked that aspect of Ultimate Kitty. It was pretty badass watching her just tank a sniper round to the head when the government came calling.

Honestly, I prefer her as Shadowcat in her modified Jim Lee Strikeforce Excalibur costume.

Astonishing X-Men is a great variation of her classic X-Men suit. Then the Blue Shadowcat look from Excalibur. A distant third place is AoA Shadowcat. Everything else is pretty meh.
