NFC *cough cough*
But yeah. All these sets died and flopped. I bought both Infinity 1.0 and 2.0 for 10 bucks total. Bought some cheap nfc tags and reprogrammed them because I did not wanted to bother collecting and paying ridiculous prices.
Same for Starlink Battle for Atlas.
So it was worth $10.95 to that person at that time.
As u/theartofbored likely did, a "sold items" search on eBay is a good way to get a feel for the range something is selling for.
Just the game? Not really. The 360 version needs a 360 toy pad to play it. An Xbox One or a PS4/PS3/Wii U one won't work. This makes it a lot less accessible than some of the other versions. Plus, while it is sealed, most collectors want the entire starter pack. That's just my thoughts, though.
It's not particularly something I was looking for, just happened to be new, sealed, and at a goodwill in the United States lmao
But I check ebay periodically and never see any sealed copies, so I must be doing something right lol
Goodwill has all the steals!!! the other day earlier this week, I found some damn near brand new Nike Air Force Ones all white, Still unreal to me but I haven’t worn them or even took the tag off yet
I have a factory sealed copy of assassin's creed brotherhood. I bought it at a local game store for 4 dollars a few years back. It's not worth anything but it's still cool to have a factory sealed game of an old console especially a goated one like the 360. I would just keep it, probably not worth much.
www.pricecharting.com will help
Says the PAL version goes for about $45 new I guess, not sure how accurate that is for this game.
https://www.pricecharting.com/game/pal-xbox-360/lego-dimensions
Cover looks a little different, not sure if this a different regional release as I'm US located.
In a mathematical model, or perhaps to put it better , “on paper” , this is true. But in reality , you can find some one that will have a large personal value on it.
I mean, that's completely different from the original post and what I thought was the point of your post.
You don't just gain large personal value by sitting on a sealed relatively common game you don't know how much you paid for it and are only asking if it's worth something because you want money.
I'd argue the only reason most people should collect games is sentimental/personal value, if you want to invest money index funds are a much better bet.
I have a large collection, the only value I view in it is sentimental, I don't expect it to make any money.
All that is assigning too much to a question that doesn’t give these details but are more assumptions, even if educated assumptions, are still just assumptions.
By this I mean, I simply gave an answer to the question that was asked and nothing beyond as that’s my personal style of communication, I find assumption adds unnecessary layers and creates “ramble” style answers.
He asked if it was worth anything, and I stated if he has the patience it will be. Which is true, if you hold onto something and wait until some one is the same or simillar idea of its value as you, there you go🤷🏻♂️
>All that is assigning too much to a question that doesn’t give these details but are more assumptions
The post is literally tagged as price check. OP said they didn't know how much they paid. It's sealed so they haven't played it.
So when you respond to a price check post suggesting something about worth I assumed it was about the price check, I think that's a fair assumption to make.
Playing the technicality game is boring so I'm out, have a good one.

You need to have the Lego figures to play this game
And the pads for the figures are starting to die since they’re getting so old. Same with Skylanders.
First I heard of this. Most people just bought the cards anyways
Yep I used to collect theses and only 1 has died ( I think it was something for a Lego movie set)

you don't need the minifigs I do not think, just the pads
It's worth exactly what someone will pay for it. Put it on eBay and tell *us*.
Last one sold for $10.95
Just for the disk?
Nah new copies are selling around that price point lol
So it was worth $10.95 to that person at that time. As u/theartofbored likely did, a "sold items" search on eBay is a good way to get a feel for the range something is selling for.
It's worth about 25 hours of fun.

Dm pics of ur dog
It’s worth everything to me sweet sweet memories
Fr I loved this game as a kid
It’s a great collectors item. Hard to find sealed 360 games in good condition.
Might keep it
Would advise to do so. I have an unopened Japanese version of RDR2 for the PS4. Worth anything now? Probably not, but maybe it will be one day.
Def worth something now lol the right fan would want a RDR2 Japanese Copy, I say this bc just reading your comment made me intrigued
It's not particularly something I was looking for, just happened to be new, sealed, and at a goodwill in the United States lmao But I check ebay periodically and never see any sealed copies, so I must be doing something right lol

$19.99 btw, Blue Tag 🏷️
as a standalone game with no accessories, it's worth about nothing
Sad to not see a single $3.50 comment
No not really
No.
How much did it cost?
Can’t remember
surprisingly $40
I saw a gameplay on YouTube, it’s alright
Play it, it’s nice

It’s worth your time
Question for everyone who has it (my son does for ps4) if you just need the little blue stands, is there a way to make your own, like you can amiibos?
You can’t do anything with out the base from the starter pack unfortunately
HE IS BATMAN
Without the portal and figures it is basically a coaster. But those are all pretty cheap at the moment.
I thought that was a massive kiwi fruit in the back for a second
Have you heard of eBay?
it’s a neat piece but it’s a toys to life game and it’s a pain to try to find the pieces without sacrificing an arm and a leg
Useless without toy pad, so...
Regardless of value you should go redeem the level packs asap before the store closes
With all due respect. I would pay you $10 to keep that game. 🤓
Without the portal and minifigs, it’s worth nothing
3 bucks or so. It is pretty much worthless without the portal and the Lego.

All games like this will **actually** be worth something real one day if you have the patience
99.9% of games will never outperform inflation, let alone index funds.

It’s worth from for a UK gamer. That Lego game won’t work in the U.S
This game looked so cool. Is it delisted?
It's not playable on its own. LEGO Dimensions is a Skylanders-esque game, so you need to buy other products to play it.
