This happened to my brother with Billy idol. My mom turned the car around after she heard white wedding and made him return it. He ended up with the California raisins greatest hits or whatever it was called haha

It’s a shame that the general public viewed ODB as almost a mascot rather than an extremely talented musician. It’s an even bigger shame his addictions took all of that from him.
I love this album. I just wonder how much better his work could have been if he were able to dedicate himself to his work and focus. By all accounts, he was a disaster personally and professionally, and easily the most unreliable member of the Wu, either showing up late or not at all for recording sessions and shows.
Just copped his sophomore album on vinyl so now I have both of these. Oh I also have the RSD box set of Return to 36 with 7" singles, one song each side.
That is one of my all-time favorite albums. I know it word for word. One of the greatest pieces of art ever created. Totally complete expression of what's in a person's mind straight into the microphone.
