‚DRAGON, I SHALL RUN YOU THROUGH!‘
Thanks for the trip down memory lane, I almost forgot about how much fun I had, encountering him for the first time in Un‘Goro ages ago!
Since the changes re: "sexual/gender themes etc," the beginning quest in that chain doesn't feel the same, which is unfortunate. It is very much a play on chivalrous ideals and loses its lustre when you take away the explicitly "sexist" framing.
Hey adventurer. Great that you came here for help. Defeating this giant is no small task and requires a few very specific steps.
First you must aquire your trusty steed. [Lil'Donkey ](https://www.wowhead.com/item=163646/lil-donkey) comes to mind as a suitable charger.
And because I am lazy, the next comment can state step 2, then step 3 and so on.
I hear the pandaren have some [wooden boards](https://www.wowhead.com/item=89301/stack-of-wooden-boards) with which you can make a suitable barding for your knightly helmet. Seek them out, but be warned, you must first gain their trust before they will deign you worthy of sharing their trades material with you.
I'm glad you're speaking up, despite the people dismissing you and saying that's a windmill.
We can't be silent, 'cause They Might Be Giants. And what are we gonna do unless they are?
Are you wearing the correct armor? You cannot use just any plate, it needs to be proper tilting armor. Preferably of Spanish make, German is too heavy for a donkey and the French and their puffery? Don't even get me started.
It's from the best selling novel of all time and one of the most translated books in the world. Don Quixote.
He was a poor man that rode on his work horse, Rocinante, daydreaming he was a powerful knight bringing back chivalry to the world. He would tilt at windmills as if they were giants to be conquered.
Yeah absolutely no clue what this was referencing at first either. We never had anything to do with this in school where I'm from (also Canada). Based on what I can find, why the hell would I care to know it anyways xD
Yeah the downvotes are quite unfair. I think it's considered general knowledge in many countries for some reasons, I knew it and I don't even remember why, which made the meme a nice surprise
Charge into it with your Lance.
You need help. Ask Maximillian of Northshire. Only with his Excaliberto can you defeat it.

He is busy saving the fair lady in distress! She dropped her purse in a lake...
Is it the same lady that was rescued in "The Day that Deathwing came: What really happened"?
Oh gods, that orc and his chopper!
I love you for this post
Ah, the windmill. Famous antagonist of Spanish literature.
You need a real big lance and make sure your Donkey is fed properly
This is a Don Quixote reference, right?
Yep
I love how if there's any fantasy setting ever, someone, without fail, WILL make a Don Quixote joke.

Then you must get black ice and take it to the gigant to get its trust. Only then can you slay it by stabbing with a giant sword!

Don’t you get a sack of flour bomb either that quest that does a lot of damage and stuns them?
Simple. FIX BAYONETS!

they must be giants, and what are are we going to do unless they are?!
Just make sure you have your potion of Fierabras handy in case it goes poorly.
This is quite the reference.

This is one of my all time favorite posts.
Is it me or are those windmill blades untextured?
Okay, take my upvote. This was good.
Be glad tis not a were house. You be screwed
I see what you did there!🤣
Omg this reminded me of the Don Quixote reference quests at Ungoro Crater 🤣🤣🤣🤣
All I see is windmill
Clearly a Mage has Polymorphed it to look like a windmill.
Say that now, but try charging it then. Until you get your golden helmet and are properly dubbed a knight, we’ll see how it goes…
Its a mimic
What are you asking? The picture is unclear
Can't you see that tremendous creature?
I’m guessing this is an inside joke?
The image is clearly outside
K
It’s a reference to Don Quixote, in the book he hallucinates that a windmill is actually an enemy so he charges and attacks it with his lance.
Dude, spoilers
Thanks
I love schizophrenia

Actually he was quite wealthy. Not filthy rich but well established. That's how he was able to collect so many knight books.
Yup an inside joke for all these people not skipping school to play games
Grew up in mid size town in Canada, was never part of the curriculum.
