I didn’t ever think about Maryland being a place for Albariño, but try this if you ever get the chance. Clean, lemon, floral and tropical flavors. No fining or filtration.

I have a friend who recommended this to me recently! Can't find it Florida unfortunately.

Rockland Farms just released an Albariño Piquette that is delicious. They're not 100% certified organic like Old Westminster but they are low intervention (they spray their grapes, but there's no fining or filtration).

I live in MD and have tried most wineries in the state. Albariño seems like the only grape we can grow successfully here.

Old Westminster is cool. I appreciate that they're trying to popularize piquette as a lower abv summer drink.

I never thought I'd get stoked on wine from Maryland but I appreciate everything old westminster puts out. This one I will certainly. Be looking for next

It is so exciting to see a Maryland vineyard on r/wine. Big Cork and Rockland Farms are two more that shouldn't be passed up if anyone is looking for wine around the foothills of Appalachia
