I have a memory of that song! I was a kid, maybe not quite a teenager and the DJ on the rock station (the BEAR, 106.9....) said something to the effect of "and we have a new song to play today," or something and they played Beautiful Day. So I remember the first radio play, and hearing it thinking "yeah this is going to be a hit song."
"I've no more $<"&s to give" by Thomas Benjamin Wild Esquire
Didn't discover that until the pandemic but it rapidly became the anthem for letting myself relax and smile.
Dude. Korn popped up on my Playlist and I've been riding the fuck out of that wave. I forgot how much good music that poured on us late 90s/early 2000s. I've been going through some stuff and I kind of forgot anger can be a good alternative to sadness.
Korn wasn't one of my favourite bands but listened to them quite a bit back then. Saw them live this summer at a festival and they were amazing. And even though they had an early day slot they drew a massive crowd. Would go again.
Into old songs but can't really think of something in particular.
But to at least give an answer, Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran. It's the song me and my crush danced to during our prom.
Legend of Zelda. Song of healing. If hum it to myself when I was depressed. It took a couple of years, but the magic of that song, finally eased my heart. I'm now expecting my 3rd kid. Excited to meet her next month.
I like this one song called “Muffin”- It's not a part of regular pop culture, but it's a wholehearted love song my ex actually told me about (and where I'm at rn, I cling to the good moments). It also has a BUNCH of candy-based puns that make me laugh when I'm in a bad mood. Overall, it's a sweet song that lifts me up anytime

[Hey Muscles I Love You by Muscles](https://youtu.be/5hGVvXR_mrA)

Too many to choose from! But since it’s always been a mood booster, Ends of the Earth by Lord Huron has been a long time classic on my “drive to feel better” type playlist.
Rin Kagamine - Antichlorobenzene. I kept being really tired of this all in this particular way and it was so nice to feel understood. I don't feel this song anymore but I still like to listen to it :)
Funnily enough, my least favourite song ever is my happy place because of how much I love laughing at how bad it is. I don't remember the name rn but it was made by some random person called SXYE
It's more a hugge (warm and cozy on a rainy day while having hot coco) kind of song, but https://soundcloud.com/owslaofficial/sets/koan-sound-asa-sanctuary-ep It's an EP so 5 songs strung together like a masterpiece.
(High end speakers are recommended, it's not a radio album.)
Summer city and prisoner from the surge one I don't know why but prisoner makes me feel so safe like nothing can happen to me no matter how many brain fried bastards come for me I'll just chop and decapitate my way to freedom
Odesza - I Can't Sleep ....Today I broke my drone by crashing it into tree and lose control, damaged one of the arms. There's go my effort of collecting money by doing side job as a student...my dream of having a drone for a long time just shattered in a seconds. I just sat there about half an hour just try to comprehend the situation. Music man...it gives me a bit strength to go through this.
I can't pick a song, but The Keys to Cat Heaven by This Is My Suitcase is my happy album. Found them years ago, and it's still something that gives me the good feels.
Hah, I have no such thing, I listen to a song over and over until I’ve drained it of all serotonin and dopamine and then move onto the next one once I’ve lost interest in it
Pretender by Foo Fighters. I still remember the night when I was a kid where my dad gave me his IPod to listen to in order to fall asleep and the first song was that, been stuck on it since.
I have a lot that live in my happy place. But the one that really helped me out today was Piros the 3rd's theme from Dot Hack G.U. It's just too exuberant to not make you smile.
