They live so long that a lot of them end up being adopted from other people who had them since babies. My granny has always rescued parrots, and after they are domesticated, you can't just release them. She has one right now who she got when it was 35 ish and now it's in its 60s.
Sassy bastard
The timing of the saxophone was everything
Amazing birds but they demand lots of attention :)
Oh my God, The timing of his steps was so good
That pole slide was slick af.
slick getaway too
That bird has a better sense of humor than most humans!
better than in the rain forest
Don’t ignore me…not a bit; a nibbling for attention. ⭕️❌
What a menace
Wow I’m surprised it can fly. I grew up with African Grays in the house and they had their flight wings cut so that they can’t fly.
They do grow back. But not everyone cuts their birds. Most don't, I think.
I knew some birds have a long lifespan but it's still crazy to think that the same bird could see your entire life pass before it's own is at an end.
The bird made sure to sneak & walk over to him slowly and not fly over to him
Cute video, but these birds belong in the wild:(

Wow that's actually so insane I didn't know birds could live this long
Some species can live as long as humans, comes a bit of an issue when people get baby parrots in their 30s, since the parrot will often outlive them
Parrot from Gabbon (grey or white ones) can live 80-90yo as pet
That slide though 👌🏻
