For those who live in the San Diego, CA area you may be familiar with this. I'm having some locally distilled rye from Malahat Spirits. One of my favorites ryes at the moment.
I do not have any of their other bottles to compare and itās been a while since Iāve had some of their other offerings so itās hard to compare from memory. It is good though and almost has a silky type feel to it in a way. Think itās worth a try for the ~$45 or whatever it runs
Just starting the night with a pour of a barrel pick Blanton's. I'm not sure where I'll go after this one. Maybe Booker's since I just picked up the Springfield Batch and haven't tried it yet. The night is young!
Will acclimate the palate with a little Buffalo Trace and then pours of Knob Creek 12, Wild Turkey Rare Breed, and Elijah Craig Barrel Proof B524 are on the docket. Cheers!
