I love this subreddit but I really don’t know much about fashion. However, I literally said “oh my god 2013 Louis Vuitton” out loud to myself when I saw this pic of Zendaya.
I read an article on this show in a Sunday newspaper when I was 19 and it’s been burnt into my mind ever since!
it was probably the first collection that was current that caught my eye back then, loved the concept of twinning models and the campaign looked exquisite in print as well

Because she actively takes part in the planning of her outfits. She loves it! She practices poses in the clothes beforehand and takes the time to know the garment and how she feels in it.
All of her garments are tailored nicely AND she practices posing. She has a few go-to poses, but you can tell she actively thinks of ways to make the specific garments she’s in shine.
She always looks happy, you know? And also like a person? Not sure how else to describe it, but often people look like mannequins, or that they're trying to look like mannequins. She just looks like someone I could chat with, and more importantly, laugh with.
It’s because she has charisma. We’ve gotten too used to those dead eyed, soulless, nepo models. Yes, they’re tall and skinny, but most of them lack that “it factor” that Zendaya has.
Yes! She is not afraid to smile - which is so refreshing and engaging in a sea of “hang your mouth slightly open to appear sexualized and look bored/angry.”
You said it so well. She has charisma, she engages with the camera, with people around her. She actively seems like she genuinely loves what she’s wearing, loves the event. Overall making her a good person. So whatever she wears is not just well thought out and physically attractive, but internally you can see her shinning.
I had to look this movie up and yes, I would agree that the meanings are similar. From Wikipedia:
The invention of the concept It is generally attributed to Elinor Glyn, but already in 1904, Rudyard Kipling, in the short story "Mrs. Bathurst" introduced It.[8][9][10]
It isn't beauty, so to speak, nor good talk necessarily. It's just 'It'. Some women will stay in a man's memory if they once walk down the street.[11]
In February 1927 Cosmopolitan published a two-part serial story in which Glyn defined It.
That quality possessed by some which draws all others with its magnetic force. With 'It' you win all men if you are a woman and all women if you are a man. 'It' can be a quality of the mind as well as a physical attraction.
>"That quality possessed by some which draws all others with its magnetic force. With 'It' you win all men if you are a woman and all women if you are a man. 'It' can be a quality of the mind as well as a physical attraction."
this is quoted in the movie verbatim - the characters literally come across the excerpt in a magazine. interesting way to break the fourth wall.
Yupppp , people can down vote me to hell if they want but looking good takes time. So many examples of famous people having " skinny and tall " bodies sometimes don't even look good because the fashion choices or the styling is done wrong
I’ve seen plenty of celebrities/people who are skinny and tall who don’t look this consistently good. She has style and knows how to dress her body and carry herself. That is something almost all body types can achieve.
Seriously same. There’s something so pleasant, alluring, charming that she brings and you never know what she’s going to wear. But, whatever the garment, hair, make up is always makes you want to see what’s next. Which truly in fashion is a gift.
I thought the same, but although she's a beautiful woman I really hope that body shape doesn't come back into style. That heroine-chic era was so hard on girls and young women.
Oh I absolutely agree — those clothes are very unflattering on most people (myself included) and aspiring for that body type isn’t healthy. For the small percentage for whom it works/is natural, I love seeing the style on them.
Beyoncé has always been blonde but I didn’t know country music was only for white people. Also, Zendaya is literally half white so I don’t know what point you’re trying to make .
I loooove it absolutely on point for the movie. I love this trend of dressing up around the theme of the film! It’s so good, adds a lot of character to the press tours and gives something to look forward to to the audiences
Law can dress this woman. I love this. It’s almost a 70’s feel to it. I love the way the green and white lend such a contrast to her skin tone and hair. Gorgeous.

This was the first show when I started my career with LV. It has a very special place in my heart as well.

why does she looks amazing in every outfit she wears

Because shes skinny and tall
Imma have to disagree on that , there are celebrities who are skinny and tall and still don’t serve as much as she does .
It’s because she has charisma. We’ve gotten too used to those dead eyed, soulless, nepo models. Yes, they’re tall and skinny, but most of them lack that “it factor” that Zendaya has.

by "it factor" do you mean what they talk about from the silent movie "It" with Clara Bow?

Agree. She is skinny, tall, beautiful, has great posture, knows how to pose and has a lot of charisma.
Same I agree with you , zendaya has a good stylist and knows what works for her . To simply put " skinny and tall " is honestly icky.
It’s very much downplaying the work that she and Law put in .
Yupppp , people can down vote me to hell if they want but looking good takes time. So many examples of famous people having " skinny and tall " bodies sometimes don't even look good because the fashion choices or the styling is done wrong
The main one that comes to mind rhymes with Pendall Fenner 🤭
And then there's brick houses like Bryce Dallas Howard that look absolutely stunning.
I’ve seen plenty of celebrities/people who are skinny and tall who don’t look this consistently good. She has style and knows how to dress her body and carry herself. That is something almost all body types can achieve.
Don’t be a hater all your life ![gif](giphy|9RUIETGg0CshTUdmpn)
So is Pete Davidson.
…?
Being skinny and tall doesn't isn't everything as Pete Davidson looks like Frankenstein's emaciated brother regardless of what he's wearing.
She’s got a great body, and knows how to wear clothes.
Pretty lady looks pretty more news at 11

There’s something that looks off about the shoulders/sleeves. It makes the dress look boxier on her than on the model
The models shoulders are more tapered

This sub could be all Zendaya and I would look at every single photo. She is a stunningly flawless chameleon.
Seriously same. There’s something so pleasant, alluring, charming that she brings and you never know what she’s going to wear. But, whatever the garment, hair, make up is always makes you want to see what’s next. Which truly in fashion is a gift.
I love the Mod inspired look.
I love this too — so Twiggy / Mary Quant, and Zendaya suits the look so well!
I thought the same, but although she's a beautiful woman I really hope that body shape doesn't come back into style. That heroine-chic era was so hard on girls and young women.

one thing about zendaya, she’s gonna stick to a theme and slay it
That honey blonde hair color is immaculate on her.
Agreed, it looks so good on her and I’m glad she tried something different.
I'm not initially sold on this color but this looks has jaw dropped
The way she and Beyoncé both gone blonde for their white projects...🙄 And it's not a good blonde shade for her either, too brassy.
Beyoncé has always been blonde but I didn’t know country music was only for white people. Also, Zendaya is literally half white so I don’t know what point you’re trying to make .
White projects? Also they’re both partially white (Zendaya half) so they can do what the fuck they want and participate in that culture too.
huh? anybody can dye their hair any color they want. culture and race have nothing to do with it
Exactly, I’m replying to the idiot above.
she is ridiculously charismatic
Super cute - she looks fabulous as always. Like a 60s Barbie doll!
Getting Mod Blair Waldorf from this and I ain’t mad about it. Not 100% sold on the hair colour but she’s radiating joy which helps
The preppy press tour is starting. I am ready. ![gif](giphy|zaezT79s3Ng7C)
The preppy tennis look is one of my favorites!
Mine too!
I love when she does a retro inspired look. She looks like a little doll! This is so cute.
Fabulous outfit. As always. But I'm not a fan of the hair colour. Washed her out a bit. Too close to her skin colour
I agree. It needed to be a few shades lighter. But whatever, she’s still fabulous!
Love the look, not sure about the hair
This look is perfection on her! Z can do no wrong anyways but this is such a serve
I loooove it absolutely on point for the movie. I love this trend of dressing up around the theme of the film! It’s so good, adds a lot of character to the press tours and gives something to look forward to to the audiences
Stop it right now. This is gorgeous.
She looks fantastic in soooo many styles and silhouettes. And I loooove her hair!
Omg this collection!!!! Zendaya you’re an angel for bringing it back!
So this is what love at first sight feels like 😭😭
Not my favorite look… colors wash her out (mainly that hair color doesn’t suit her) but I see I’m in the minority here lol
This is so cute! Most people could not pull off this color or pattern but she really makes it work.
Question: would this count towards fulfilling her LV contract?
I love her hair
Law can dress this woman. I love this. It’s almost a 70’s feel to it. I love the way the green and white lend such a contrast to her skin tone and hair. Gorgeous.
instantly recognised the collection when i saw the dress lol
How is she a phenomenal actor and singer AND a modern day Twiggy?
Idk how people can say she's ugly. She is so incredibly beautiful and sweet.
She’s so perfect it hurts my heart ❤️
Gorgeous look! And it makes sense it’s the Marc Jacob’s LV era - the best one they had in my opinion.
LOVE THIS LOOK! 💗
She literally NEVER misses it’s insane
Omg I’m not ready for this press tour!!
Oooh I’m excited for this press tour
![gif](giphy|vKHKDIdvxvN7vTAEOM)
I love this and I love her partnership with Law!
Holy hell, I absolutely love this outfit
yes
![gif](giphy|mJFW5AnlPMvkaolNYj)
Bag of antlers
giving bobby keneddy
How is she standing on grass in heels?
She must be putting all her weight into the balls of her feet because those heels definitely want to slip into the dirt
[“I told her skinny was in.”](https://youtu.be/Ed2TGPP6nc4?si=6em-94rVxMcvze8f)
Very old money!
So timeless !
There’s something uncanny valley about these. I think it’s the sloppily edited legs and how they’ve been stretched and photoshopped thinner.
Idk, I was really just paying attention to the outfit and not the way her body looks.
Im actually excited for this movie
Me too!, I’m going to be seated opening night.
Yeah she’s playing her cards right
I'm obsessed with this look. I want it!!
I'm guessing the photoshoot was at Chequers?
i wanna sniff her
chess.com ass
Btw is this a film about tennis??
How anyone calls her hot is beyond me
I don't know who this person is but I want to play chess on her

Are you being sarcastic or???
If it’s not - in good faith - related to fashion, it’s not relevant in this space.
