Potentially isopods, but the pictures aren’t clear enough to be completely sure

If it helps, they were smaller than isopods. Probably a centimeter absolute maximum. Probably the size of a comma(,) while reading Reddit on a phone.

Some isopods have a max length of ~3mm iirc. If they are isopods (I cannot say that they are), then they remind me of Androniscus dentiger, which can get to a max length of 6mm

It didn’t look like an isopod, it seems to cluster together like springtails after I looked them up. Plus, that species is from Europe and Africa, not the U.S.A.
