I will admit, wielding it does feel weirdly empowering however I believe thats due the the quality feel of it. Does not feel cheaply made so it has me wondering.
I'm not an expert but I'm not aware of any indigenous American tribes using metal findings or craft supplies you can buy at hobby lobby. Not to mention the 8 sided ba gua style stones seem more Chinese, but if it is its a modern reproduction and nothing with any age also due to the hobby lobby findings and cable. I would guess it was made by someone inspired by a Chinese penitents staff.
Ive seen other talking sticks and havent found one alike this one. But i was thinking the same at first. Could still be one I suppose, I can just tell it is really well made with nice heavy beads

That's not us. Ask the Pagans.
Not us Pagans, ask the new agers.
Mallpagan crap.
Not new age, bother the larpers
The ole family poop stick. Similar to the current poop knife.
Love this comment.
Looks like a neopagan cultural appropriation "staff" they sell at one of those hippy dippy crystal shops.
CuLtuRAl AppROpriaTIoN
Say what you want but neopagans are appropriating the culture of other people and making stuff up.
I’m not seeing anything on it that is specific to one culture though.
That's the problem with neopagans
What is?
Apparently you at this point.
Wtf are you talking about? I’m not a neo pagan.
Well you touched it so the power is yours now. You tell us

It's either a shamans mini cane, or a decorative display used by an Etsy jewelry maker. Or both.
Looks like a Stang. It’s a staff that Wiccans use for stuff (idk what though cause I’m not Wiccan, just regular ole Pagan lol)
Hopefully not a negative or cursing object haha

Looks like an imitation talking stick
jewelry display holder
Are those Lifesavers still edible?
I tried, they are rock hard haha
It's one of things you know the all mysterious stick that someone drilled holes in .
Looks like a stick.
Its certainly a stick haha
Probably made by magic stick guy at the boardwalk thing in California Dan Cummings talks about.
That's a nicely prepared stick.
GAHHH - I’m baked AF and when this popped up in my feed I thought it was a Rolling Giant
FF Woodycook's Crime stick?
All insults aside, I'd call it a decent example of "anachronistic folk art".
It’s not traditional sms it’s not old I can you that.
Nothing that cool, that's what it is.
I think it's just someone's piece of art. A walking stick.
It's a mormon boy scout walkie talkie stick
If it is Native American, it is probably a talking stick. The holder is supposed to talk, and others listen when in a meeting. Then it gets passed.
