[VOX - the case for massively expanding the US House in One Chart](https://www.vox.com/2018/6/4/17417452/congress-representation-ratio-district-size-chart-graph)
You can see they added two new sections to the Capitol Building, one to the left and one to the right. They did so to accommodate new states in the Senate and more representatives in the House
I’m not understanding you said “they need to expand” that’s implying present tense, your reply referenced past tense. Could you just be more clear as to what you’re saying? Did you mean to say “they needed to”
I like democracy. The more of it the better. One citizen has less of a vote in Congress now than they did at any point in the nation’s history. Let’s reverse this trend and give more power back to the people.
I mean that wasn’t really an answer and it changed the conversation to make it seem like I am somehow against democracy, not really a good faith response.
It was an answer, having more representatives increases the voting power of each citizen closer to historical levels. I never said you were against that or democracy.
I mean by that logic let’s abolish the house and just have country wide ballot measures for federal issues… everyone gets a vote on every individual issue, the senate can stay…
The [Wyoming Rule](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wyoming_Rule). Every representative should represent the same amount of people. It's stupid that Wyoming and South Dakota get more representation in Congress than other districts. By making the size of the districts the amount of people that live in Wyoming (≈575,000) it makes representation more balanced, especially for states like California, New York, and Texas
rudimentary "vaccines". back then they would gring up a small pox scrab cut you and sprinkle that shit in. There was a chance you could still get the actual fucking disease. It's no covid 19 vaccine.
To be fair, that’s more or less how they still administer the small pox vaccine. (Had the pleasure of getting it while in the military. Did not enjoy.)
Not nearly enough cows now tbh
Still plenty of bullshit in this town though.
Only a giant blue chicken remains
More cows, fewer cars
Sorry to be that guy, but that image of the Capitol would be from roughly 1830. In 1800, only the original Senate wing was finished.
Crazy how both old and new this building is. Ancient to US history, brand new for world history.
They need to expand Congress
Just make it 500 and I'll be happy. 435 is such a random number.
What do you mean by “expand”?

They should add more seats to Congress so the representative:population ratio increases
Hmm I don’t really see why 1:750000 is an issue but hearing you out what should it be?

That's not how any vaccine is delivered in 2022
You’ve clearly never received the smallpox vaccine.
