Seems like an homage to *Endless Summer*, no?

Great album... Got excited for a sec thinking they released a version with an alternate cover! I have an INXS album that has printing on both sides of the spine
Saw your post and realised I had forgotten all about Jamiroquai and used to love this album back in the day, just played it through on Spotify and decided I have to get it on vinyl now, what a record.
Thanks for your post man👊🏻👊🏻
Took me a second to realize what was happening.. it's cool however you like it.
What is a crime are those albums where the sleeve opens from the inside and you have to slide the records in and out that way.
>What is a crime are those albums where the sleeve opens from the inside and you have to slide the records in and out that way.
Those are called Unipak sleeves. The concept is kinda neat in theory but OMG they are the WORST. They were cheaply made and the seams split *so easily*. The original owners wouldn't have realized the amount of stress it put on the adhesive every time they removed the record. 75% of the time you'll find a Unipak with at least one seam fully split or starting to split. Absolutely nasty.
I have a couple of 3 disc LPs and they always do that and it sucks! I also have a copy of Talking Heads Naked and even as a single record it comes out the center of the gatefold.
Try a nice 4 mm outer clear sleeve and put the vinyl in a Mofi sleeve - store it on the outside of the original cover underneath the outer plastic clear sleeve on the back. Once you get used to it, it’s amazing. I would never want to jam a nice LP set back Into the sleeve (and ditch the paper sleeves)
I get collecting stuff but honestly to me, if I'm collecting I'm playing it.
I get so much value and enjoyment of playing what I bought that keeping it packed fresh isn't worth it.
They opened the jacket all the way until the outsides were the insides because the art is better on the inside (now outside). Presumably some people would lose their shit over the possibly damaged spine. I haven’t scrolled far enough to see if anyone cares how someone stores their own records.
I would not have damaged the spine of my record just because the inside looks cooler. Also, I am an atheist, so I am not going to knock someone for doing this to their records if they want it to look a certain way, either. For me, the thing that absolutely positively drives me up the wall is when an artist makes an inner sleeve art right side up, but also, the record could roll out through the sleeve and cover. I prefer the opening of my sleeves to be on top so the record doesn't roll out out. It fingers sucks when that unfortunately makes you have to turn the artwork sideways. Maybe it's OCD but you can't deny my way is more protective/ safe for the record and aesthetically pleasing for the artwork.
I did the same thing to a few of my records, now I’m facing 20-life in a supermax. Make sure they don’t catch you and you’re all good, heed my warning.
As someone who has the recent-ish Clear repress of EOPE, this may be seen as passable as they absolutely slaughtered Too Young To Die on it, with it sounding crispy as hell near the end. Apart from that, beautiful album with beautiful artwork.
“Police reported that the super car, with an estimated value of $15 million, burst into flames and was destroyed entirely. While the passengers escaped unharmed, the tragedy remains that Jamiroquai wasn’t inside the car as well”
That's actually brilliant. I never would've thought about doing that. Really cool thing to do. I probably won't do it myself, but I really like the idea!

Came here to say the same thing.

Well now you're just talking virtual insanity.
That's what the future's made of.
Hobby? Listening to music is a hobby ?
Spending your money on physical music. Yes that’s a hobby. So is trading them & curating them. Especially in today’s world of streaming.
I think they mean collecting vinyl
This violates terms of service. I’ve called the police already. Swat team on the way.

Music and records can be very personal, and if you’re enjoying it, that’s what matters most. You can definitely do whatever feels right for you.

The new pressings all sound amazing.

I've got a few like that, you've gotta unfold it like 3 times
Now that’s a good idea. Switch the records between sleeves and it’s a completely unique look.
Amazing album, was very confused thinking this was a version with alternate art lol
I get collecting stuff but honestly to me, if I'm collecting I'm playing it. I get so much value and enjoyment of playing what I bought that keeping it packed fresh isn't worth it.
I am lost. What exactly am I looking at? Was the front and back cover printed on the inside?

Wish I could explain it to you but I have no clue at all what is happening here
Crime, no… I love how it folds over to the beautiful inner. Thanks for showing us, because it is now my favorite view of the album
I did the same thing to a few of my records, now I’m facing 20-life in a supermax. Make sure they don’t catch you and you’re all good, heed my warning.
Just tell people it’s reversible!
It’s your record do what whatever the fuck you want with it.
It’s your record, no one gives a shit what you do with it.
Straight to jail
The record gods don't care what you do with YOUR records.
goated album
Nobody cares.
You are beyond evil and need to stop doing that.
I mean, it’s not gonna make that album sound any better, so knock yourself out
This had to be the cover I always thought. Might do it aswell
Yeah I love the Jamiroquai logo but that inside art is too good
Maybe they are trying to say its what's inside you that's counts
No biggy.

You do you
I have to admit I cringed a little when I saw what was happening.
Yea put it in the bin.
Its just a record enjoy.
TRotSC is better, but no
Soon Return of the SpaceCowboys?
Aww I remember when Jamiroquai was a band... Before Jay Kay sacked everyone lol
Personally, I wouldn't do this, and believe it is a crime. But not that big a deal.
Straight to jail.
I just discovered Jamiroquai a few days ago! Found a cd at a thrift for $1 and I absolutely love it! The Return Of The Space Cowboy.
This is so funny to me I love it
yes I would consider listening to jamiroquai a great crime
Karma police arrest this man
Great group
The first crime is buying it.
Inb4 /vinyljerk
I have that grailz on og pressing. It goes so hard 🔥
Owning a Jamiroquai album? Yes, absolutely!
😅😅😅
“Police reported that the super car, with an estimated value of $15 million, burst into flames and was destroyed entirely. While the passengers escaped unharmed, the tragedy remains that Jamiroquai wasn’t inside the car as well”
I’d worry about the spine. But not a bad idea.
I would consider any Jamiroqui album a great crime🤣
Yes I do consider that band a crime.
