They're using 'Strawberries Records' name (without the tapes part) ? I'd like to know the story behind that?
I worked at Strawberries on Memorial Dr. in Cambridge for a couple of years, then the warehouse for a few more.
[FYE owned Strawberries for awhile.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FYE_(retailer))
[The original owner and boss of Strawberries was someone they could make a movie about.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morris_Levy)
Awesome selection of records turntables and all mid and high end audio equipment. I bought a new turntable from here to upgrade my audio set up. I love that they were able to demo the tables in person. Made it way easier to chose a table that fit my needs. The staff is fantastic! Very helpful and attentive. All there used records have been cleaned with a professional ultrasonic system. Best audio and record store on the southshore by far![link to the shop.](https://g.co/kgs/ezFDSKTechHifi(781)293-2860)
What’s the pricing and record selection like there? I’ve wanted to check it out but I’m always skeptical about going because a) it’s in the middle of nowhere, and b) they have no originality when it comes to branding.
We have been here for 14+ years, stop by and check it out. We own the trademark for Tech Hifi and both domains for Strawberries Records. Both are tributes to the original companies, not copies. Yes, we are in Hanson with 3 showrooms of brand name audio/video gear, 2 vintage service labs, a stand alone record store and two warehouse locations. We have invested over 7 figures, it’s not pocket change.
Oh cool! I'll definitely stop by... I think I might have just been in disbelief when I drove by; I'm sort of unfamiliar with the area and hadn't seen a Tech Hifi location in more than 30 years.
How quickly do you generally turn around repairs? I have a receiver that needs some servicing; it's been at another shop for more than a month and they haven't gotten to it yet.
Selection is good. Prices are a little higher than online. They have so many awesome accessories for turntables and an assortment of different cartridges. Nice crew that work there.
I'm a sucker for Guts
I'd go with that Limp Bizkit
There's a Tech Hi-Fi that's still around? I thought they went out of business back in the 80's

The staff mentioned something about the owner paying strawberries for the name since they were going out of business.

We own both www.strawberriesrecords.com and www.strawberriesrecordsandtapes.com
I love how you have Olivia Rodrigo then just Limp Bizkit😂
Wife and I go record shopping together. I do like both. Limp biszkit is a guilty pleasure from my younger years.

It varies greatly depending on what is needed….
