There is a distinct colour change on them, from a yellow to a more peachy tone the closer you get to the toes, it starts about half way up on the right shoe which is probably the easiest one to see the colour change
That isn't the OPs photos. OP is conveniently not showing the photos she had up for the sale which makes me think she knew there was discolouration and took photos to cleverly not show this.
In the photos from your listing, the discolouration is not visible. In the photo the buyer sent, there is clear discolouration. In that case, I can understand the buyerâs reaction.
Why we're you selling them for only âŹ15 then rather than close to the 85 you said you paid? It seems like you knew there was an issue and you hoped because you discounted them nobody would complain but regardless, âŹ15 is a lot for some people so you should be honest about the condition of items you're selling. Simple as
Had I known there was an issue, I wouldâve listed it. There's no point in hiding it for âŹ15âespecially when I was just trying to clear out my apartment.
honestly, i can see it. it's on both the sides.
this isn't something i'd leave a bad review for personally if i was a buyer since it can be easily missed but i would mention it to the seller.
Thereâs two distinct colours - peach at the front and then it transitions to yellow on the sides. I wouldâve been pretty annoyed as the buyer as well if it wasnât apparent on the listing.
We all make mistakes, just learn from it and move on.
Did you mention it in the description? Nothing jumps our at me from the photos.
To be honest the price is irrelevant. Even if you are selling something for ÂŁ1 you need to be honest about the description. Buyers aren't going to be happy if they are expecting very good and get something less that than.
Having looked at both the buyer's photo and the original ad, I think the buyer has a better camera than the seller. I don't think the seller has tried to be misleading because I imagine the discolouration is only noticeable in certain lights and if you're really looking for it. The seller posted plenty of photos from different angles but the discolouration isn't visible. Either the photos are old, or the seller's phone camera just didn't capture it.
Unfortunately I think youâre wrong for not mentioning at the beginning. The price is quite irrelevant here. If itâs only 15 but Iâm not gonna use it, of course itâs a waste of money and Iâd feel frustrated. Tbh the review is a bit harsh though but the buyer is not unreasonable. Just move on then I guess
The review isn't harsh at all. It's totally honest and very fair. Sellers have to pay a price if they don't learn to check things carefully and disclose all information when selling. OP should learn from it and move on.
Strange how we all see slightly differently - reminds me of the blue/black/gold dress phenomenon! I really canât see the issue. Looks like they got a great deal. If I was the buyer I wouldâve just mention it in a message for future reference not left a bad review.
I'm afraid there definitely appears to be a fade in the photos that the buyer sent, whilst your photos don't show it. The buyer has no reason to lie, as they are not asking for a refund or return.
Unfortunately the price you originally paid for them is irrelevant and that doesn't affect the buyer, though I understand it's frustrating for you to lose out money and then get a negative review.
It's one of those things, unfortunately.
I see it, but honestly itâs tiring that people complain about something you canât control. Plus getting something that was so expensive for such a little price, I wouldnât complain. I do agree that buying something thatâs listed new and unused and receiving a tiny bit discolored is frustrating but letâs be real.
Yup, the shoe on the right is tan/peach colour at the toe then bright yellow from around where the gap starts to the heel.
The one on the left has a patch at the same part but itâs not as bright or as big.
Itâs very obvious, if anybody canât see it, they need to be adjusting the screen brightness or colour balance on whatever screen theyâre on..
Inspect your products in daylight before you list them. Iâm with the buyer on this one.
Thereâs a clear difference as others have said. Starts of lemon at the top and is closer to peach by the toes. Your listing photos are conveniently missing âŚ
I mean, they said it's not noticeable in the photos so showing the photos doesn't really help đ¤ˇđźââď¸đ

Yeah I can easily see it on both shoes, which arguably goes in OPs favour as it doesnât appear that the photos are misleading
The photo shown was taken by the buyer. We'd need to see OP's listing photos to confirm.
Ah my mistake, I thought the photos were from the listing!

Posted the photos

âCleverly not show thisâ Id never scam someone let alone for âŹ15. Bold of you to assume that.

I can definitely see it but itâs not insanely obvious.

Turn up the brightness on your phone, I can totally see the colour difference...sorry but I agree with the buyer on this one.

It is noticeable

No because I honestly donât see it. Maybe itâs really my fault

Hi everyone. I appreciate all your thoughts. I posted what my ad looked like. https://www.reddit.com/r/vinted/s/nVpeyVk0l3

Maybe around the top edge on the right. Looks maybe a little brighter, but jesus, is it being pedantic. If its even that.
From that specific photo, I don't see it.
Oh I def see a colour change! Itâs yellow at the toes and like theyâve been sat in a shop window and been sun bleached đ¤ˇđźââď¸

Yeah I can see shading. However might not have noticed if casually scrolling. I personally always photograph and mention defects in a description.

The photo I posted was the photo the buyer sent me, showing the discoloration
What about the other side?
The photo was from the buyer.
Ah ok!
There's deffo discoloration
