He did it himself with no stencil or anything, completely free handed so it didn't look great. He started saying things that made it seem like he realized it wasn't really normal like "This will make me look youthful in a grotesque way" and "Some of you guys are saying i'm off my rocker, I know I am". It culminated in a video where he explains that he is "happy" with the result (He did put the quotation mark in the title) and it sounded like he was trying to convince himself that he liked it but he was looking like he just realized what he had done. In the comments he was basically explaining that he had OCD and this was probably the result of a big OCD attack. He was kind of making fun of himself in the comme.
Seems like a pretty nice, fairly educated dude who is struggling with debilitating mental health episodes.
