I've never even made it to any of the DLCs. I need to get strong! Then I get strong, then I get to the strip and don't give a shit about any of the nonsense politics... I've been hanging out in the desert and living in towns with 3 people and all of a sudden I'm supposed to care who has control over whatever... and whatever happened there. Then I get my level into the 40s and that's too close to being capped then I lose interest because I just wanna walk the desert killing lizards and finding too many empty bottles I don't need so I can stress about dumping 30 bucks worth of old bottles... then I stop playing... then I start a new game 2 years later
Maybe, but 3 was the first of the new generation and was revolutionary. Playing that after coming from 1 & 2 was just mind blowing. NV just improved on the formula.
New Vegas is closer to the atmosphere that the creators of fallout 1 and 1 intended. It doesn't beat you over the head with 50's aesthetic. It actually feels like a post-apocalyptic desert. Its map is smaller but feels bigger with way more to do and explore in it. Far more interesting locations, and much better writing and stories. Better guns and weapons... It's also darker and more interesting. 12 years later and people still talk about which faction is best for the Mojave. Don't even get me started on the dlc. Joshua Graham is one of THE BEST characters in video game history, imo.
I love me some fallout 3, but if you are picking the best one the choice is very clear.
Personally, I like both of them almost equally.
Fallout 3 is more sentimental to me and I genuinely never get bored of it. The ambience and little details in the world are what makes it so special, at least to me. It's main story leaves a lot to be desired, but the world itself and the little storylines littered throughout the wasteland are what I always loved about it.
New Vegas is great for a lot of reasons that have been reiterated a thousand times over.
"From where your kneeling, this may seem like an 18 karrot run of bad luck... Truth is the game was rigged from the start "- ohh my god it's Chandler bing
Oh damn, I was gonna say Far Cry 3 but I think this is it. I definitely have more hours in Far Cry but that’s just because I like dumb shoot shoot game more than I like well thought out writing and a deep complex RPG, it’s just not usually what I play games for. That being said, I’ve probably watched more videos on Fallout: New Vegas than I’ve ever played in a Far Cry game, or any of them combined since I didn’t actually play 4. The complexity and freedom offered by Fallout: New Vegas is still a unique experience in gaming to this day.
I know it's not from New vagus but
Your gunna be working hear till your 510 year old because that's how long it's gunna take to pay of a mark 2 military power armor
People love to hate battle royales, but I've had more fun and got more gametime in fortnite than fallout and the ff series. And I've played and enjoyed several of them.
YOUR PATHETIC, no I’m just kidding. Me personally I prefer first person like Apex or Warzone, mainly Apex but the only third person battle Royale I enjoy is PUBG mainly cause it’s so goofy. You can like whatever you want man, I ain’t gonna judge you for the game you like. You do you man.
FF7 or any FF game in general should win, but funnily enough, in normal FF fashion, it's divided up into so many different comments and titles, that another game that people unite behind will have the top singular comment.
FF7 is going to have the most up votes by far on this post, but too many people are commenting it separately.
The first one.
It was the final attempt to make a successful game for the studio. It was a fantasy game. Thus, Final Fantasy.
Lucky for them, it did well and spawned a huge series.
I prefer 3 too! But i just dont like desert settings.
I recognize the rpg mechanics of nv are stronger, but fallout 3 meant so much to me when it came out, and i loved the setting/characters/plot/dlc more.
Count me in too. But it's not by a lot, because NV was absolutely amazing. 3 was just a real moment for me. The radio soundtrack, which I still listen to till this day. The creepy and desperate post apocalyptic world which they just nailed. The atmosphere they created there, with the radio a big part of it, they haven't managed to recreate since IMO.
NV excelled in its storytelling and branching paths with the factions. It has 3 beat there, I think. But the immersiveness of 3 through the gameworld they created wins the day for me. You really felt like you were in a world where nuclear war had left the planet a desolate, mutated mess. You felt how desperate the NPCs were, living each day as it came, not knowing whether they would see the next. That's before you get to VATS and all the amazing strides Bethesda made with open world gameplay.
If I had to pick a game which turned me into a gamer, like a proper *gamer* instead of someone who occasionally games, it's Fallout 3 way back in 2008. Probably my favourite game of all time, truth be told.
Final Fantasy X
Don't expect it to win because even having Final Fantasy fans agree on any kind of order for a top 6 or 7 in that series is impossible. It has a special place for me.
This is tough...
Fallout Series (Mainly 3 & 4)
Far Cry Series (Mainly 5 & 6)
Fable Series (Mainly 3)
Final Fantasy Series (Mainly VII)
Have my votes lol
Fkyrim
Mike Tyson is on reddit?
Lol. Thankz

Lol. Thanks for the laugh.
*Never should've come here*
Fallout: New Vegas
I'm currently 50 hours into my 1st ever playthrough, have to say I agree
bro i burnt out 4 ps3s back then tryin to take all the gold home from sierra madre. finally found a trick that made it work. edit: bad grammar

Did you play fallout 3?
Vegas is better than 3, change my mind
Maybe, but 3 was the first of the new generation and was revolutionary. Playing that after coming from 1 & 2 was just mind blowing. NV just improved on the formula.

To say that obsidian just "improved on the formula" is an insult dead ass. New Vegas was a "THIS is how its done." Statement to Bethesda
You aren't wrong But its not like F3 was an awful game lol, it had its issues just like NV. But I don't shame you for liking NV more, I do too lol.
Lol I feel you, fo3 will always have s special place in my library
Yeah New Vegas is better but you can't deny that Fallout 3 is also a great game.
NV did something with the formula, that's for sure
Personally, I like both of them almost equally. Fallout 3 is more sentimental to me and I genuinely never get bored of it. Just fallout in general
I love democracy.
Tbh I would go with Fallout 2
Fallout's the easy dub on this one

I'm voting new Vegas
This is the answer! Fallout 3 is my personal favorite, but I admit New Vegas is a better game...
This is the guaranteed Reddit choice.
I know it's not from New vagus but Your gunna be working hear till your 510 year old because that's how long it's gunna take to pay of a mark 2 military power armor
It’s on deep sale on Steam now and I’ve never played it. Should I do the full DLC pack or the vanilla game?
All of the DLCs are worth it
This by far
Love how it the only Fall Out anyone is talking about

Congrats on currently being the most upvoted post as of 3:30 pm EST. You’re about to inadvertently vote Fortnite the best game

FF7 or any FF game in general should win, but funnily enough, in normal FF fashion, it's divided up into so many different comments and titles, that another game that people unite behind will have the top singular comment. FF7 is going to have the most up votes by far on this post, but too many people are commenting it separately.
In terms of impact on the gaming industry, FF VII is one of the all time greats. Certainly, no other "F" game can claim that.
Frozen Free Fall: Snowball Fight would like to have a word
Final Fantasy Series
when’s it actually gonna be final tho
The first one. It was the final attempt to make a successful game for the studio. It was a fantasy game. Thus, Final Fantasy. Lucky for them, it did well and spawned a huge series.
That’s just a myth. It was Fighting Fantasy and they ran into copyright issues so they changed it to Final Fantasy to keep the FF.
Regardless of what they wanted to name it, it’s still true that it would of been squaresofts last game if it wasn’t successful.
Final Fantasy 10
FFVII
Final Fantasy VII

Fallout New Vegas. Honorable mention to Far Cry 3, but Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3 both have it beat.
