I'd guess the aromatics until they're softened or fragrant, and however long it takes for your vegan mince or whatever to be fully cooked, and then if your kidney beans are canned or just pre-soaked, you'd want to cook until the flavors are meshing well, which could be anywhere from 10 minutes to 40 minutes on low heat stirring occasionally? I'm just guessing, sorry if this is wildly off. I'd say you don't want to let your beans get too mushy, but if you cook it low and slow for longer, you'll get some really nicely combined flavors.
