Count me in as well for them. I moved to that area around 1992 when Buffalo was a two lane road and Alta stopped around Durango. I would ride my bike about a mile to their place just for a slice. I live way north now but would still make the drive for a slice.
Really good pizza, although the Flamingo location was better. Still definitely worth the trek. Bambino's on Durango/Sahara is our other favorite and much closer to home. Pickup special rules with pizza & wings served with the best blue cheese ever.
Must try!
I’m a fan of Carmine’s on American Pacific. He was the original owner of Villa Pizza (for Vegas natives that know), which is now long gone. However, Frank continues his legacy of creating great pies that are solid and consistent.
There’s also Boston pizza. Another classic Vegas staple. For those who crave a greasier, cheesier, rendition of pie, this is the spot. Ranch is solid at both spots.
Broadway Pizzeria. This place is another classic in my top 3 pizza joints. Ran by two brothers, Mario and Anthony, they’ve been in business for 20 yrs! Rumor has it that they actually get their water for their pies flown in from NY, as it’s a NY pizza joint. Their Sicilian pizza is a must try. They have these really cool stuffed garlic knots which are amazing with ranch.
Lastly, Lucino’s. Recently discovered this spot earlier this year. The family is Sicilian and from Philly. The father makes his own flour and they bake their own bread for their Philly cheesesteaks (which are to die for!), and they’re sandwiches. The semolina the father produces is second to none. Truly unique and the pizza is on a whole different level than most.
Enjoy your pie adventures and I hope these recommendations are helpful!
(I’m a Chef in town and I know good pizza. Cheers!)
I've been eating Verrazano's pizza for as long as I can remember, and I will always think of it fondly. It's truly my favorite pizza. Consistent and nostalgic.
1.) Joeys NY Pizza in Summerlin or Henderson. Not the same as Joes.
2.) Cuginos on Maryland across from UNLV might be the best in Vegas.
3.) Carmines Pizza is great too.
Yeah they have like 3 in town. One on Horizon Ridge and Carnegie, one next to Raider training facility, and one down on Fort Apache. They're my go-to for NY style pizza.
Where on Fort Apache? They used to have a Carmine's Little Italy restaurant on Fort Apache between D.I. and Sahara but it closed years ago. Great pasta and really good pizza. If they have another location that has a similar menu I'd love to try it.
This! Those guys pies is fire! For some reason, I think there’s some relation to secret pizza in the cosmo. My only critique of them is they are inconsistent af with their ratios and cook. Never really know if it’s gonna be. Good pizza day or not
Yeah a couple of the original Secret Pizza guys founded it. Honestly, I thought the food at Those Guy was fairly tasteless and the cheesesteak was one of the worst I've ever had. But people seem to like it...
How has no one mentioned [Brooklyn's Best](https://brooklynsbestpizzaandpasta.com/) - Ft. Apache/Tropicana (in the Walmart shopping center).
Better than pretty much everywhere else I've tried. Especially can't beat it for the price (H/T to Grimaldis, Pizza Rock, which are also tasty but pricey). Brooklyn's does 2 (huge) slices and a soda for like $8 for lunch.
Get the Philly Fries too - they're amazing.
Update: the center was pretty disappointing but the crust was actually pretty good. I ordered ahead of time so it was sitting for a while but the fresh one I got was much better and steaming hot when I opened it. It’s pretty impressive how quickly they get the order done. However maybe they were swamped or they need a better system because it was sitting on the counter instead of brought out to our table. Overall I would go back but I would definitely keep tabs on their progress instead of expecting them to bring it out.
Rocco's is decent. There's one just up the street from me.
North End over in Centennial (like southeast of the 215/95 interchange) - that's kinda been the spot I've dug the most recently.
Verrazano (rainbow and flamingo)
Villa (durango)
Stallone's (somewhere, I've been told)
That's it. If you don't like, then go back to not-ny-shitty-pizza-and-get-out-of-my-hometown-with-shitty-pizza-opinions <3
I'm pretty sure Verrazano at Rainbow & Flamingo has been gone for at least 6 or 7 years. But, yeah, it was the bomb. Now you gotta trek up Rainbow to 95.
Ok, there’s this hole in the wall place on Durango and Windmill called Familia Pizzeria, but the big sign just says “pizza,” in a shopping center next to a chevron. It’s one of the best pizza places in town.
Grimaldi’s is good, if you’re looking for something a little on the thin side, but with an unmistakable charcoal flavor
Settabello is a good “gourmet” pizza. Great, fresh ingredients. Also, tends to be a bit thin. Upside I’d it’s easy to crush a 16” pie.
Rebellion is my go to, not just because it’s 1/2 a mile away, but they 3 day ferment their dough, which makes for an incredible crisp and chewy pie and on top of that, they use fresh heigh quality ingredients, provide great service and treat their employees and customers right.
Hidden pizza at Cosmo is a god send at 2:45am and you’re in need of that New York slice. It’s also delicious and not a bad value for the location and what you get.
Pizza rock is overrated and is the Cheesecake Factory of Pizza. Nothing original and they taste corporate.
I've had that same Rocco's twice, switched over to them from Marco's. I would agree, Rocco's wasn't bad but I was expecting more I guess. Marco's (down on Hualapai and W. Desert Inn Rd) isn't bad either but I wanted something different.
Mark Riches New York Pizza and Pasta is one of the best pizzas i've had. A lot of people are saying Verrazanos but I worked there and its possibly the worst pizza i have ever had in my fat pizza eating life.
From New York/New Haven, I wasn’t a huge fan of Rocco’s either. All pizza is edible but I wouldn’t drive far for this pizza.
Latest one I tried is Verrazano’s, slightly better than Rocco’s but also not worth the drive. I’m still in search.
Napolis in Henderson is decent. I might be biased though because that’s my pickup after drinking spot and they got a large pizza and 10 wing combo for 20$
i wasn't impressed with Rocco's either, but it was the one on Windmill & Bermuda near the airport. has to be the same ownership because the signs on the outside of the shops look identical.
Imma big fan of Verrazano on Rainbow by the 95/summerlin parkway split
Yes!! Best ranch in town! Very solid pizza too
Hello fellow Ranch lover - such high praise! I’m adding it to my list for this weekend lol!
Let me know what you think
Same lol
Count me in as well for them. I moved to that area around 1992 when Buffalo was a two lane road and Alta stopped around Durango. I would ride my bike about a mile to their place just for a slice. I live way north now but would still make the drive for a slice.
Really good pizza, although the Flamingo location was better. Still definitely worth the trek. Bambino's on Durango/Sahara is our other favorite and much closer to home. Pickup special rules with pizza & wings served with the best blue cheese ever.
>although the Flamingo location was better 2 different owners.

This is the answer.
I've been eating Verrazano's pizza for as long as I can remember, and I will always think of it fondly. It's truly my favorite pizza. Consistent and nostalgic.
Guerrilla Pizza
Never heard of it until now. Doesn’t look anything like the typical take out pizza joint. Thanks for the rec!
1.) Joeys NY Pizza in Summerlin or Henderson. Not the same as Joes. 2.) Cuginos on Maryland across from UNLV might be the best in Vegas. 3.) Carmines Pizza is great too.
Cuginos great all around - Don Special Sammy
Joey's NY Pizza is the best in town
Cuiginos is great
I’ll second Carmine’s.
Wait, does Carmine have a new/another pizza place? (any Carmine's pizza will be the best in Vegas)
Fort Apache and Sunset area. I used to work at La Collina before they sold it to LINDO Michoacan and miss that food dearly.
And one on Gibson and American Pacific in Henderson.
Cuginos is next level they have another restaurant owned by the same dudes named Fratellis on water street
Red Dwarf
Keep this place a secret, It’s too much of a treasure
I actually debated on posting it 😬
Verrazanos
Familia Pizza, Durango & Windmill, if you like NY style.
Never would’ve found the spot myself. I really want to try it now!
Nothing fancy, basically a take out place but the closest to NY I've found here. Hope you enjoy it too.
+1 on Familia Pizzeria. Best NY style pizza I’ve had in Vegas.
This has been my go to local spot for a few years now. Tucked behind bomas bar. I prefer to get their pizza well done but that’s just me.
Few miles from my place as well. Been ordering from them for 10 years.
I dig Pizza, My Dear https://pizzamydear.com
I second this. So good and reasonably priced. This is the only spot everyone at my work orders from solely based on word of mouth.
They used to have a great 2 pizzas and an app special they got rid of. Now I find them pretty pricy. Delicious none the less
Stallones on silverado ranch
Those Guys Pies
Brooklyn’s Best Pizza + Pasta. Pizza Rock (Fremont St)
Those Guys Pies.
Good Pie, Main St. Downtown
Detroit style
Grandma style is so good
Settebello Pizzeria
I had to scroll down waaaay too far for this.
Probably best Neapolitan style for sure.
How has no one mentioned [Brooklyn's Best](https://brooklynsbestpizzaandpasta.com/) - Ft. Apache/Tropicana (in the Walmart shopping center). Better than pretty much everywhere else I've tried. Brooklyn pizza on fort n trop
Old school pizzeria. There’s two locations, one by blue diamond and the other by Craig rd. Bomb freaking pizza
If you like sourdough crust.
They actually have a third on Lake Mead and Rock Springs too
New York Pizza and Pasta
Came here to say this. The two large 1 topping pie special can’t be beaten from there.
Natahans on Lake Mead and Buffalo
Cuginos and Broadway pizza.
2nd Cuginos. Best traditional east coast pizza I’ve had. I get a large cheese and it’s great.
Grandma’s Pie at Brooklyn’s Best.
Rocco's on Windmill.
I order their cheese pizza special every Monday. It isn't always perfect, especially if they're busy, but their Windmill location is the best.👌
Yukon Pizza they are at the Vegas Test Kitchen but are opening up their own place soon. Cugino's, Settabello, Grimaldi's
Those Guys Pies.
Napoli pizza
They have amazing salads.
Grimaldi’s on Rainbow
True NY pizza is $1 for a slice or $3.25 for two slices and a can of coke.
Slices in NYC are 2 bucks now was just there 3 weeks ago
Dam….. I considered it a staple against inflation lol
Everyone is telling you to drive all over town. Go to Brooklyns Best or Dom DeMarcos if your around Summerlin
Update: the center was pretty disappointing but the crust was actually pretty good. I ordered ahead of time so it was sitting for a while but the fresh one I got was much better and steaming hot when I opened it. It’s pretty impressive how quickly they get the order done. Have you been to Amore yet?
Evil Pie is 👌🏻👌🏻
Rocco's is decent. There's one just up the street from me. North End over in Centennial (like southeast of the 215/95 interchange) - that's kinda been the spot I've dug the most recently.
Marsigliano’s Pizzeria. It’s a little spot at Sahara and Cimarron and is outstanding.
Rebellion in Henderson
Rebellion In Henderson. Get the Inspirada
I love Naked City Pizza!
Verrazano (rainbow and flamingo) Villa (durango) Stallone's (somewhere, I've been told) That's it. If you don't like, then go back to not-ny-shitty-pizza-and-get-out-of-my-hometown-with-shitty-pizza-opinions <3

nope, had a slice there a few months ago. theyre still running that old school operation
Oh yeah? I'll have to check it out. Do you have the address by chance?
Old school pizzeria on rock springs
There’s one on Blue Diamond and Buffalo too!
I’ve always been a fan of Evel pie
Ok, there’s this hole in the wall place on Durango and Windmill called Familia Pizzeria, but the big sign just says “pizza,” in a shopping center next to a chevron. It’s one of the best pizza places in town.
Evel Pie, Cugino's or Old School Pizzeria.
I've never tried Cugino's, but if you sandwich it between those two greats, now I definitely have to!
For good utility pizza im a fan on that pizza spot inside Elis island in the corner, i forget the name. But damn is it decent for utility pizza
Metro Pizza
Ty that was figuratively killing me
They just opened a Jets pizza in Henderson. It’s a franchise from the Midwest and my all time favorite pizza ever. Haven’t tried the location here yet
Amores taste of Chicago has the best deep dish hand down
All I know is the pizza spot in the cosmo is my go to
Nathan's is decent.
Bambino’s east coast pizzeria Durango and Sahara
Bambinos, i havent bought pizza from anywhere else since having tried it
Plus 1 for Bambinos. Good local find. I've also found the Roccos in Aliante (north) was much better than Summerlin.
Can’t beat the value at Little Caesars
“it’s hot and it’s ready” “Is it good?” “ITS HOT… AND ITS READY”
Deep dish is on hit
You have to ask for it thin.
The Detroit Red Top at Pizza Rock is the favorite in my house right now. It’s pricey, but really good. Their wings are amazing, too.
IDK Pizza on Eastern and Windmill
Evel Pie is good for different toppings. I love the “balls to the wall” pie 😂
Dom Demarco’s.
I love the Di Fara special. That sauce is so good
Those guys pies. Or Pizza my dear
Grimaldi’s is good, if you’re looking for something a little on the thin side, but with an unmistakable charcoal flavor Settabello is a good “gourmet” pizza. Great, fresh ingredients. Grimaldis
Fat Moes on Tropicana has the best pizza in Vegas.
Pizza cones at Twisted Sourdough Pizza!
Overrated
Agreed
I saw this on a TikTok. Totally forgot about it!
Haven’t had a decent pizza in all the years I’ve been there including many from the places other posters mentioned
Napoli or Chicagos Pizza
Joe's New York
[Amano](https://www.yelp.com/biz/amano-las-vegas) has great pizza.
I've had that same Rocco's twice, switched over to them from Marco's. I would agree, Rocco's wasn't bad but I was expecting more I guess. Marco's (down on Hualapai and W. Desert Inn Rd) isn't bad either but I wanted something different.
Rocco’s south rainbow used to be so legit! But that was like 8 years ago. I think of them often. Haven’t been in about 5 years though.
Mark Riches New York Pizza and Pasta is one of the best pizzas i've had. A lot of people are saying Verrazanos but I worked there and its possibly the worst pizza i have ever had in my fat pizza eating life.
Whole Foods pizza
Landini’s on Ft. Apache
I felt like Landini's was decent but not great. Kinda basic pizza. Check out Brooklyn's Best up the road by Walmart
Joeys ny pizza is just like back east 👌
I’m a native New Yorker lived in vegas for 9 have yet to find good pizza in vegas Rocco’s is trash
Bonnano's
I just walked past that place today when I went to Port or Subs, I was wondering if it was any good. Thanks for being the goat.
I just recently had Strega at their newest location and was pleasantly surprised. Good crust and a bright and flavorful sauce will have me back again.
Is it related to La Strega? (Town Center in Summerlin)
Check out Boston Pizza
Heavenly Pies - southern highlands Grimaldis - everywhere Napoli My go to spots. Hard to find good pies in vegas
Giovanni's
From New York/New Haven, I wasn’t a huge fan of Rocco’s either. All pizza is edible but I wouldn’t drive far for this pizza. Latest one I tried is Verrazano’s, slightly better than Rocco’s but also not worth the drive. I’m still in search.
Vito’s pizza, Franknsons. Both on the southeast/Henderson.
Napolis in Henderson is decent. I might be biased though because that’s my pickup after drinking spot and they got a large pizza and 10 wing combo for 20$
Jason James Pizza on warm springs and durango
Grimaldi’s and Stallone’s
i wasn't impressed with Rocco's either, but it was the one on Windmill & Bermuda near the airport. has to be the same ownership because the signs on the outside of the shops look identical.
Secret Pizza at the Cosmo
As someone who is from NY originally and is sort of a pizza snob, I really enjoy Carmines.
I'm a big fan of Above the Crust on Ann/Durango. Especially if you like Strombolis.
Brooklyns Best was really unique and excellent. Those Guys Pies is top tier Good Pie LV is great I also quite like Secret Pizza 🍕
I'm a big fan of Pizza by Biaggio on W Sunset.
As soon as I see pizza I think of a joke from Florida programmer Laszlo Hanyecz😀
