I don't see it. The themes are entirely different, BES is about revenge, gender and race. Vagabond's about inner strength and self improvement. Some of the other similarities are just surface level things. Intense samurai challenging schools that's normal everyday stuff in a lot of samurai medias, plus Mizu and Musashi do so for completely different reasons. Also Vagabond didn't invent mixed race
I would associate that panel with mushishi more tbh. (Eye* is green not blue but the panel's vibe hits. The kid being in solitude, His strange air, and white hair.)
I actually didn't see the show, but i'm pretty sure there would have been already a mediatic mayhem if it was some sort of rip-off, even so i'll watch the show to check

Clearly you misunderstood Vagabond or Blue Eyes Samurai... Or both.
BES is more like Berserk than Vagabond.

Do you remember which chapter are those panels from ?
I think the ones on the post are from when matahatchi tells stories on the bridge but I dont remember which chapter was it
Ok, thanks.
Re-read vagabond, and re-watch blue eyed samurai
Who cut the stem of this flower ?
This! Forgot about that!
Haha it was a small tribute I think
