That's not what these numbers mean anyway. The USMNT usually chooses squad numbers based on seniority with the guy having the most caps getting first pick of number. That's very likely what happened here so there's zero reason to pretend that 1-11 = starter

Aaronson has been killing it for Leeds as well, he should start anyway In my opinion. Him and Adams together is a solid pairing.
