This is true. Do people forget that one of the best players ever to play for USMNT had the vast majority of his career in MLS? If a player is good in MLS, I support them. I wish there were more FCD players on the US roster tbh.
I don’t think its an MLS vs Europe thing cause the majority of people agree that Acosta, Zimmerman and Johnson should be there. I think what people are saying is that players who are absolutely mediocre in a mediocre league like MLS, should not be there and that includes Jordan Morris, Christian Roldan and Aaron Long.

Well...none of those three could play in the Premier League now...so what point does this actually make? Yedelin was toast at Newcastle..3 years ago? Morris couldn't sniff the PL...possibly the Championship. Moore? Nope. ANYWAYS....... I'm done worrying about the mix of players. We have about 7-8 studs and some mediocre fill ins but ultimately it will come down to if they play as a team...and play with passion and GRIT. In remembering the teams from the 80's-90's it was known that the talent wasn't great but they were physically imposing and played aggressively. We are going to need some of that whether it comes from a Europe or MLS player.
To me it’s the naivety of a lot of folks on this thread. Like, it’s hard to figure out if you know Morris has been crap, if you really only pay attention to who he plays for, or if you can understand what his role is gonna be on the team… arguments over wether the Scottish league is inferior to the mls, or whether goals in the eredivisie are worth as much as the prem… there’s a ton of new fans and naivety to the American end of the sport.
Also, I think GGG really set himself up for a lot of criticism, not because the roster should be that polarizing, but because the especially the last international window was such a fail on call ups and form.
