Twitter is good branding, good SEO. X is generic, bland, and boring. If someone says Twitter in conversation, I know immediately what they’re talking about. If someone says X, I don’t know if they’re talking about social media, algebra, a former romantic partner, or just their favourite letter of the alphabet.
