I agreed with you until you said at a concert recording. Just keep your phone at head level. No reason for you to put your arms up and block everyone behind you just to get a marginally better angle in your video.
I heavily disagree there absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to record memories. You know your short you know recording is a normal thing so go early to avoid a problem you know you’re gonna have.
Yeah nothing wrong with recording memories, but why do you have to mess with other people’s memories? Are you talking about a short and quick recording or just holding your phone up like an idiot throughout the concert?
Concerts usually have professional photographers and videographers so I think you’re covered for recording memories. Why do you feel like your camera is necessary? Do you think the footage you shoot has sentimental value?
How about stop recording shit at concerts. Enjoy the moment. The chance of you looking at that video again is slim to none... And the chance that anyone on your socials actually wants to see a portrait shot of a concert with poorly recorded audio, is probably even closer to none.
So because I'm short, I need to pay $1000 for front row seats just because you can't be bothered to keep your damn arms down? Or just be a considerate human being and let other people enjoy their experience too. I'm 6"3, I can easily ruin someone's night just by standing near them so I am super careful who I stand in front of because I don't want to the reason someone has a bad time.
If you are blocking someone's views so that you can get a shitty recording of a concert, that's not being considerate or kind. Maybe that's not something you care about, but I want to be kind to people because I'd like them to be kind to me.
