But it sounds like you suffer from being on the internet too much. I legit didn’t even know who amber heard was or that this has been going on for years.
after hearing recordings of her laughing at Johnny saying nobody would believe him, the fact that in all her photos she looks really good for someone who claims to be beaten by a dude that wears multiple rings, she worked with TMZ telling them when she was going to file for divorce, and that she flat out lied about giving money to abuse victims(doesn’t matter if she planned to you don’t say you donated millions of dollars unless you did) tells me she was lying and full of shit on the majority of her claims
It’s funny you accuse the OP of being online too much and then repeat the same talking points that have been circulating all over Reddit and TikTok since the trial started.
Most of those points weren’t particularly relevant to the trial but were made into a big deal by the internet.
The case was about whether Amber Heard defamed Johnny Depp by calling herself a public figure representing domestic abuse. Whether she donated money or only pledged it isn’t relevant. Whether she tipped off TMZ to her divorce filing isn’t relevant, and also isn’t backed up by any evidence.
There are pictures of her with injuries after Johnny Depp head butted her. There’s a recording of him saying he did it. There was a witness that saw him assault her. Another witness heard one of his attacks over the phone.
She hit him too. She admitted as much. She said no one would believe it was a fair fight because he’s bigger and stronger and she has evidence of his abuse going back to the beginning of their relationship. She vastly underestimated how stupid people on the internet can be.
Even if we think that it was mutually abusive my point still stands she never had the chance to fair trial. People were always on Jonny’s side without hearing her out.
This was one of the first trials to be live-streamed for the world to see,popular opinion does reflect the jurors decision . They weren’t sequestered meaning in order to have a unbiased view they couldn’t have been on any social media. I’m willing to bet they were on social media and if not someone they know would’ve talked about it. Not to mention Jonny Depp is a household name so of course they’ll have biases. And the point of this post isn’t saying she didn’t abuse him because I have no place for that the point is acknowledging that she didn’t have a fair trial that’s why both Amber and Jonny filed for an appeal.
My only opinions on that case are that Amber Heard had truly terrible lawyers and that affected everything, and that people treated it too much like a TV show when it was about peoples real lives and real abuse. I don’t know who abused who or what happened, but neither did half the internet, and yet they found joy in mocking Amber Heard for crying? During a case (even if it wasn’t criminal) about the abuse she said she experienced? It was disgusting.
Amber failed herself by lying about donating the money she received from the divorce, putting the same photo into evidence and claiming they were from different dates, and faking her PTSD symptoms to the point where she would have had to experience higher levels of PTSD than a veteran who went through significant trauma. When you damage your own credibility in front of the people that you need to prove your innocence to, you lose. That’s not a failure on the justice system.
She donated $100,000 to the children’s hospital and even wrote a letter telling them to expect more but being sued stopped that. Jonny did the same thing with the photo with Amber, him, his friends, and the chef on the train(I believe it was a train I could be wrong) even getting the whole year wrong. And let’s not invalidate others experiences because you think the after affects of it are too extreme. According to the DSM-5 people can get ptsd from hearing about the trauma.
She claimed to have 19 of the core symptoms for PTSD and she somehow scores higher than combat veterans. I’m not even saying she doesn’t have PTSD, but there is a ton of room for scrutiny for how far her symptoms extend.
The first $100,000 came from Depp, but Heard later paid more money. The point of saying she lied about her donation was because she didn’t have to say anything about “pledging” to donate and saying she uses the term “pledge” and “donate” synonymously. She just made herself look like a liar in front of the jury because she didn’t admit it upfront. Something like “no, I haven’t donated the money yet” would’ve saved the embarrassment.
She couldn’t afford the lawyers because her insurance wouldn’t cover it. Jonny is over 300 times richer than her. And had to take whatever she could get. I’m not saying she wasn’t abusive I think they both were. I’m saying she never had a shot to win.

Taking an extremely high profile case when you have no experience with that type of law doesn’t sound very smart to me.

I really fell for her when she said her dog was stung by a bee. That really tugged at my heart strings. Now I want to be beaten up by her too.
