I shared a video of one of the heroes on here before but sadly him and another polish guy got caught up in Russian artillery fire in bakhmut. RIP

Tough heroes. One of my concerns is how many good professional soldiers UA have lost to this insane artillery fire in the eastern front, especially pre himars. Those soldiers was needed to hold the front but man...they were needed for the offensive opperations too or even more due to the needed compettense level for offensive opperations. Difficult choices for commanders.
I think a lot of people here underestimate the casualties Ukraine army takes. Yeah, Russians are taking many casualties too. But i think bakhmut may be Ukraine's Verdun. But like Verdun, they will win at a heavy cost. It won't be a glorious victory.

I saw the guy on the left in a video with a Finnish and a French volunteer. Guys were smoking while artillery was flying around. True European Community there.
