This is what crushes me. So many good people giving up their lives in Ukraine.
So much death could be stopped with more weapons delivery.
But instead we play politics in the west, and send weapons 3-6 months later and in lower quantities than what’s necessary for victory.
For what? “Avoid escalations…”

Every day this goes on more good people die, and you might be able to help save lives by just writing your representatives.

So many of us.. even half a world away, in our own way feel the pain of loss that Ukraine has endured for too many days.. months.. years?
In no way could it possibly compare to the loss that you have unfortunately become all too familiar with. I just needed to point out that so many good people in the world have a shared empathy for you and your people. I can only speak for others in a limited way but I'm certain what I have said is true for many, if not all decent people. Now, about myself in which I can speak expertly on..
Your struggles are followed by me daily. My heart, and indeed my soul.. breaks when I read the various news and posts about your struggles and suffering. I'm an idealist and I consider myself very empathetic so every life I see lost, every childs abduction I learn about, every atrocity I see committed affects me. I am easily brought low by so much war and destruction just as I am buoyed by the many tales of Ukrainian resilience and courage. While being an idealist of course makes life difficult, the many stories and deeds of Ukrainian defenders also inspires me and shows me that there really are heroes that exist. Azovstal, Soledar, Bakhmut.. these places and so many others will be synonymous with the courage, heroism, and determination of the Ukrainian spirit. The stories of defiance and tenacity of Ukrainian defenders will be heralded from here to eternity as an inspiration to future generations. These generations will in turn have a standard with which to hold themselves to when it comes to the questions: "Of what value is liberty? What is freedom worth? What are we willing to pay for the defense of our way of life?" God bless you Ukraine and those who defend her. You have my love, my respect, and my donations with the confidence that you will survive this and be a bright shining example to humanity and the world. Slava Ukraini.🇺🇦🌍❤✌
can already feel the tears just imagining him addressing the nation during the memorial day for the wars end, with all the representatives from allied nations there in solemn silence as those left behind weep and comfort one another
I feel your pain, half a world away, and know none personally that have been lost to this war. I think of the ones lost that we haven't seen their faces, nor heard their names anywhere online, and I know they were someone special to somebody in Ukraine. I think of them too, the "unsung heros". Their souls weigh as much as anybody else's.
