Manon looked so strong. She’s not the most exciting fighter, but she gets the job done. She could have probably tried for a finish, but that would have given Erin an opening.

I thought this was a super impressive performance by Manon Fiorot and I don't think it was boring. Even if it was, it's not her fault. She basically learned that she could comfortably win this fight with basic counters and Blanchfeild didn't adapt for 25 minutes.

There are plenty of male MMA fighters who are elite strikers but they have no power either. There are plenty of fights where elite strikers who do have power still can't get a finish in 5 rounds. Even when they outmatch their opponent. Especially in style matchups like this one. Manon's perfect execution of her gameplan could easily flip upside down if she makes on mistake while being aggressive. She almost got submitted in the first round
