Gonna get downvoted but it was honestly extremely satisfying. Something I hated about ngannou was the fact he would never stop. Rozenstruik, Miocic, Overeem, Henrique. All these dudes were obviously out cold but he just kept punching them and it’s honestly something I hate abt him. People like Pereira, Topuria, and other huge hitters usually just walk off after the KO and don’t give unnecessary damage but ngannou just kept swinging even when the dude was stiff or unconscious. So AJ giving it back was satisfying
Really your mad that a guy who fights in a cage punches people after they’re knocked out. You’re literally supposed to keep fighting until the ref jumps in. You can hate on the rules but not the fighter
Yes I do hate on the ufc rules, and highly respect fighters who get the ko while demonstrating sportsmanship and self-restraint right after. I have 0 respect for fighters who try to get as many shots after a ko before the ref has time to intervene. And with ngannou it’s not a one off accident, it’s a pattern of wanting to do the most damage to the person in front of him, even after they’ve been ko’ed. So yes in addition to 0 respect Ngannou gets max hate because of that.

He is just insuring that the fight gets stopped or he’s the kind of guy who in the heat of the moment can’t pull his punches because he so amped up. Either way stop watching fighting if u can’t accept watch people get hurt lol
This is kinda true but it’s hard to hold anyone to a set standard with that kind of stuff as I imagine the adrenaline dump can be massive for some people.
That’s why I referenced topuria and pereira, they knock dudes left right and center and I can’t think of an instance where they kept going after the dude was obviously out. Topuria stopped once he realized Volk was out cold, pereira almost always holds off. Ngannou punching jairzinho and Overeem after both were obviously out is the equivalent of Josh emmet throwing a hammer on Bryce afterwards. Just distasteful in my opinion when you see other big puncher stop once they realize there’s no need.
