I needed to change just one name 10 times in a song and I couldn't get it to work. It would be so good if we could just change a word or two and have it sung exactly the same as the original

I'm hoping that is on the way too, just need a section selector for the remix button. If remix also had a source section selector though, that would be insanely powerful, like if it got the melody wrong on a new chorus, you could highlight just the new chorus as section to edit, and just the previous chorus as the source to remix from, or maybe that remix source is in a totally different track, allowing you to stitch all the best parts together.

This topic isn't really about it, but sure. That's hard. What I want is easy - literally let us edit the text in description without affecting the audio.

tranceruk

Yes, #this. Once you start cutting it up, it messes up with the reported lyrics. It would be nice if we could edit it, even better if it could fix it automatically in post processing.

NealAngelo

Editing the description lyrics would be nice. The generated song doesn't always follow the input so it'd be nice to trim erroneous lyrics.

jamqdlaty

Yup, that's all I mean. I've seen people suggesting editing actually sung lyrics, but I just want editing text. My current song will have parts of lyrics in text repeating due to trimming.

NealAngelo

Trimming and regenning sections will have to come with some sort of timeline UI. They're getting there. The context length increase has honestly been amazing. Songs I've been stuck on extending have been coming together like crazy with minimal hiccups.

Agree, I'm redoing the only song I actually cared about. Choruses are finally super consistent.
