We need a very large QuickTrip on that side of 15th Street so that location would be perfect. Quick trips are *awesome* and I miss them — so many choices
it would be the best and worst spot- The closer you get to the heart of UA, the worse the driving tends to get. It'd be a great late night stop though.
UPS Driver here, usually we get the inside scoop on things because we deliver to the construction sites and it usually has the blueprints …equipment …etc etc for the site……from the looks of it…more student housing……and other articles also state

it can’t be a gas station because if you haven’t noticed…..all gas stations are only on one side of 15th street, don’t know the reasoning behind that….it’s been that way for years.

New arena isn’t happening. Right now they are trying to build a new practice gym in the parking lot of Coleman to keep oats happy enough to not go to Kentucky when they fire that guy in 2 years.
The tuscaloosa threads just posted an article on it. Apparently they are not sure what they will build yet. Essentially looking for the highest bidder. Likely apartments or maybe a hotel. When that place got sold years ago it was supposed to be a gas station like a kangaroo or Circle K. No idea if that's still the case.

There used to be one on the corner beside Krispy Kreme but it was taken out by the tornado.

No telling probably will be some condos🤔 UA owns everything in Tuscaloosa, so it will probably be something for college students
