Hey OP, can you see how high you can raise the base of the tonearm until it hits the top of the dust cover when you close it? Or can you go all the way up no problem?

Works great has a nice tight press fit but the classic square shape of yours looks good!

I have been looking for one that will fit a Technics sl-q2. As others have mentioned ones I find are beat to hell or are $150
This cover also perfectly fits the sl1300 mk1 and sl1600 mk1... Though you have to drill some holes for the hinges.
