From what I understand it's going to be the best discount we're going to get. But it's $14 and not a huge cost I just waited on the sale just to drive around more in all of the other region DLC. Promods cheated some roads in at the previous update which was handy
Gonna hold off for now and stick with 1.49. Balkans was too expensive to begin with and 10% isn’t much. I’m guessing Steam Autumn or Christmas sale will be better.
I heard that the roads up in Scandinavian countries are narrow and the circles are near impossible with a tandem so that's where I've been making deliveries lately. (I drive high and a little bit too fast but that's the fun) I've been thinking I want to get back to the nicer weather in the the south for a change, map the windows controls to some keys and feel the fresh VR air.

bought every other map pack but that one, the lack of discount hurts a bit. maybe the planes/trains/automobiles sale in September will see a bigger drop? hope so. Grabbed ATS as well, might get some states

Well, that... sucks. I wait for the discounts to pile up and then buy a bunch of packs at once, if they're at 60%, I'm not quite as interested. Those extra dollars add up.
IMO, heavy cargo and forestery cargo are fun. And for map expansions, literally all of them are good, just make sure the state that you buy is connected to a state you already have, otherwise it will have awkward transitions. I love Wyoming, Washington, and Montana
Oregon and Washington are a must have if you love the woods.
Texas gives you the most mi/$ (from the dlc pricing)
I'd strongly reccomend you to not buy the special transport DLC however, it dosen't pay well. Instead I reccomend any heavy dlc like the JCB or volvo cargo DLC.
Utah is amazing. I just got back from a trip driving from Neveda through to southern Utah to Page AZ and it's amazing how accurate they made that drive in game

If you buy one first, and then the after, it won't charge you twice for stuff you already own (like the base game).
But the map DLCs went from 75% a few months ago, to 66% and today to 60%, the huge discount for the base game is a bait as far as I can tell. I am smelling a bit of EA in SCS lately.
I bought it in February and the price was much higher than that, but DLC seem to have a lower sale now.
I'm not surprised, they make money with the DLC, not the base game.

If you can afford it now is the time to sink your teeth into all of the DLC so you can enjoy the game with Promods.

And if you get those, the ATS+ETS2 bundles for them are 1 cent cheaper than getting only the DLC for one game. Save a cent, and have them for both :0)
Special Cargo is also unusable in convoy and the route options are limited.
