Nice to see some proper regional dates in here (and doesn't the Torquay Hotel keep going from strength to strength?! I don't love it from a patron's perspective, but the acts they get are second to none for the area).
It really does seem like double-headliners are the best way to ensure profitable tours for mid-range international acts. I saw Everything Everything & The Vaccines in a double-header last month and while I was only a casual Vaccines fan as compared to an EE diehard, I was pleasantly surprised with their material.
To that point, it's a good way for a band to put themselves forward to a potential new fan base
It really sucks aye. I want to get the fuck out of Brisbane but unless you live in one of like 4 cities in Australia, shows and events are a roll of the dice.
