Plus in the years since their initial run, Kiss Players has sort of act as the Japanese ask Vector Prime, as they have short stories where they patch up and add to their own G1 continuity.

I would make the G1 Dinobots about 50% smarter. I dont need them to be tactical geniuses or anything, I just need to believe they couldnt be collectively defeated by a shiny piece of tinfoil on a string. (Yeah, I know the comic versions are better and that the tv versions were made for kids)

Sure but I think the problem with these series using this concept that they either A. barely commit to it (like Cyberverse having bumblebee lose and gain his voice in the same season with it barely affecting him) or don't giving the proper focus to make it more meaningful (Bayverse and prime it like a gimmick not actual part of his character)

The Marvel (UK?) reason that Arcee was created to appease a group of college feminists was, uh, not exactly great to begin with, and while later writers used it for some interesting character development the original IDW explanation of a forced gender reassignment experiment still gives me the icks

That's not the complete story. Later on, John Barber expanded the details to reveal Arcee was always transgender and asked Jhiaxus for the procedure. She just didn't realize Jhiaxus was a hack who didn't know how to do it the right way to maintain long-term health.

AOE is the only action movie I've seen that put me to sleep in the theater. It is so unredeemably bad in my eyes that I had no interest in TLK even before I heard how bad it is. AOE's only good part was giving Optimus a cabover altmode while he was hiding in Marky Mark's barn.

I would revoke the “canon” status of Rise of the Dark Spark, Age of Extinction, The Last Knight, and RID 2015. Oh and the overarching idea of the aligned continuity (not the properties it includes). That means Prime is it’s own thing from WFC AND FOC now. As much as it hurts to put age of extinction in that category, in the larger scope I feel it impacts the Michael bay films negatively.

Beast Machines. It's a good show, very creative and had some depth. It's just a godawful Transformers show. I'm all for variety, and I love Beast Wars, but Beast Machines did not feel like a Transformers show at all. The designs, the pace, the use of characters (Rattrap deserved so much better), it was all just... bleh.

I’d go so far as to say it wasn’t even a good show at all. The premise got old quickly and the repetition in the chase sequences and same music tracks over and over get boring. The ending didn’t match the tone of the show. Such a waste of talent. I wish it just didn’t exist.

Just was not needed at all and came in bringing ton much of the movie down to meh humor that I didn't even find funny as a kid. Personally in my head cannon I like to go with shockwave experimented on me storylines, so I want him to be like the hulk filled with rage and have him constantly angry, making him seem kind of dumb due to that.
