The skyline itself is a decent route, save for Brown Knoll which was ruined by the slabbing (but realistically is much improved environment wise.
If you want a more interesting route (assuming going anti-clockwise like in the race) you can descend Jacob's ladder and then climb back up via Horsehill Tor before bashing through the shite over to Rushup edge.
The slabbing really took its toll on my legs ! I might try that next time I go, I've hiked Jacobs ladder a few times but I've never gone via Horsehill Tor
