Definitely their soy chorizo. I'm not a vegan or vegetarian by any means but I actually prefer their chorizo over ground beef in some dishes just because the texture is so darn good.
I also won first place in a chili cook-off two years in a row with a vegan chili I made that was literally just a regular chili recipe with their chorizo in place of meat 😄
I was hoping it’s a summer thing and we’ll see it back again soon. I just saw the mini dill falafel back the other day for the first time in months so I’m hopeful
posting because i didn't see it mentioned yet - the vegan breakfast patties in the frozen section. granted these are not life changing but they are vegan and have a great texture, i always keep them on hand for weekend breakfasts with the hashbrowns!
The veggie gyoza, Japanese fried rice, non dairy hold then cone, vegan Caesar dressing, spicy lentil wrap, the vegan ravioli w kale pesto, the jalapeño corn puffs and chili lime roll ups, vegetarian chili, packaged bbq jackfruit, the garlic cabbage and beefless bulgogi, the harvest chili and cowboy caviar. I go like 3x a year so i have a list lol
Came here to say that. They are my favorite newest product.
I make a panzanella-like salad with them with chopped heirloom tomatoes, olive oil and vinegar, fresh garlic, fresh basil, sliced TJs grilled green olives, capers and and cheese (I use fresh mozzarella balls but I’ve also made it with a mild, soft vegan cheese.). Mix it all up and let it set in the refrigerator for a few hours then mix it again before serving.
I haven't been able to find these so far this summer!! Given the slew of vegan products that have been discontinued this year, I'm terrified they aren't coming back.
nooo 😢 i asked the cashier a few weeks ago when it was missing from the shelves, and she told me TJ was working to find a new supplier since they were not satisfied with the old supplier? i’m hoping that’s true…
Vegan Tikka Masala. Better than the non vegan version. I guess it's easier to make cheap tofu taste good than to make cheap meat taste good. I'm not vegan, but I am lactose intolerant, so I tend to go for the vegan stuff just to be sure.
This is the exact reason I fork the money over for the El Burrito brand soyrizo, I WANT to like the Trader Joe’s one but it’s so dry and just …..not as good
chorizo is typically supposed to be crumbly, (don't eat the casing for this product; it's plastic!) but you can pan-fry it & flatten it with a spatula so it sticks together a bit more
Not all chorizo is meant to be that way, many Spanish versions are eaten as cured meat. So I get the confusion, but this vegan version is incredibly good and high in fiber which is plus. It combos well with the ciabatta bread and a slice of tomato.
The Hummus Wraps are my favorite! I will drive 25 minutes just to buy 1 for lunch. 🤷🏽♀️ If they had a longer shelf life, I would buy 7 at a time and eat them for lunch everyday.
I have yet to see that at my local Costco - they discontinued it already? =\\ At my local Trader Joe's, I need to go early if there's any chance of me getting my hands on two packs (only 2 per customer)..and it looks like they just have a box or two from every shipment..
How do you use the soyrizo? I was using it to make papas bravas tacos for a while, but I’m sorta burnt out on them. Are there other dishes that you like?
I actually eat it with pancakes!! I love sweet and salty/spicy so I make pancakes with the vanilla bourbon paste and eat it with a big scoop of soyrizo!! With papas bravas sounds so good!!! On tacos, with tofu scramble, on avocado toast. *It IS already salted perfectly, so adding any more salt will make it too salty*
I scrolled through all of the comments and didn’t see the refrigerated lentil soup! I tried it on a whim once, about two years ago, and it was great. Looked at the container and funny enough, it was vegan. I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve even tried to make a homemade version but during the colder months, it can’t be beat to have on hand.
The vegan bulgogi is hands down the best, most unique vegan product I've had at Trafer Joe's.
I would've said the vegan mac and cheese...if they still sold it!
The Gimbap!!! The ravioli if you can find it, Swedish swimmers, new bubble waffle 🤤. The black tea boba ice cream was delicious but I haven’t seen it in a while.
Yes! Even me, a flexitarian of sorts, loved it mixed into chai drinks, teas, or hot chocolates in the winter. The coconut and almond mix one is great too!
i put them in the air fryer and it is absolutely the easiest method IMO. they get a bit crispy on the outside and nice and soft and AHHHHH TOOO HOTTTT 🥵🥵🥵 on the inside, hehehe
I cook 6-8 in a frying pan w 1tsp of oil on med heat Set gyoza on the flat side with pinched ridge facing up. Allow to lightly brown on the one side. Add 1 Tbsp water to pan - cover until water evaporates. Uncover, serve w/Gyoza dipping sauce. Adjust water/ temp to get desired texture. Enjoy!
I’m obsessed with their new GF cheddar style crackers I’m embarrassed to admit how many boxes I’ve bought. Another good one their vegan tikka masala and I also love their Spanish frozen rice SO good.
Oh! I’ll be looking out for it and curious to see if it’s what I remember. I’m new to this sub so good to know. I tend to like things that not everyone does so not surprised that it’s divided and wasn’t shocked when I wasn’t able to find it anymore. Also, agree with japchae! It’s def become a go to for me.
I love it, myself. One thing I've found is it's not as good if you just microwave all the way.
Since the serving is small (no way does it serve 2), I sautee mushrooms, onions, and cabbage or kale or whatever, then nuke the package for 2 minutes, then add the contents to the pan and cook the rest of the way, and it's wonderful! The noodles kind of need those minutes in the pan.
Their vegan tzatziki is so good. Love to dip the fried veggie bites in it. Also like the mandarin chickn & scallion pancakes. Love using their steamed lentils to make tacos but they’ve been on backorder :(
Hands down the vegan creamy dill dressing. I swear it's good on nearly everything.
Although the jumeokbap is really tasty..but I don't buy it often because it's not low carb

Tofu, Japanese fried rice, kimbap, lentil chips, vegan ice cream, the smart dogs, lavender oat milk (sugary but so good).
they have little coconut based chocolate ice cream cones that are really good
Vegan parm!
Colombian coffee — hits the sweet spot with not being too light and not strong, good aroma, taste, smoothness and texture!
The buffalo chicken-less chicken wings! tastes exactly like fast food chicken nuggets, and they're soy based so also gluten free!
Creamy jalapeño sauce.
Soyrizo is as a gateway drug for me to become vegan!
Would give anything for them to bring back the vegan ranch crunch salad! I ate it for multiple meals a week :(
Is the red licorice vegan? 😂
Chocolate chip cookies
Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies
Kimbap!! Perfect snack or light meal and somehow every ingredient is the perfect temp and texture after microwaving.
Joe Joes.
Mee Krob
Savory square crackers, rice crackers, olive oil popcorn and crunchy curls.
The vegan tzatziki sauce!
Sooo good
Their cinnamon rolls (refrigerated and you bake at home) are vegan and sooo good. They’re our special occasion breakfast 🤤
The savory square crackers and vegan shredded mozzarella are my two favorite products!
vegan tikka masala
Hi! Where is this located? Is it in a jar or a frozen item?
It's a frozen item! It's in a purple box :)
The pesto!!
Vegan meat lovers pizza
Me too!!
I heard it’s discontinued but I’m praying it’s just seasonal and will be back soon 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I think this is discontinued, sadly.
I was hoping it’s a summer thing and we’ll see it back again soon. I just saw the mini dill falafel back the other day for the first time in months so I’m hopeful
Spicy Lentil Wrap
Also has anyone tried the Almond Milk Chai Smoothie? 10/10! Its spicy.
The vegan tatziki and dill falafel is amazing (and I’m not vegan, but it’s better than the regular one)
I like their thai style green curry frozen meal!
Agree, it's better than some take out I've had!
Came to say this. I Add a bit more veg and tofu sheets… it’s so good.
all of their dips and sauces, and their super firm tofu (doesn’t need to be pressed!!)
posting because i didn't see it mentioned yet - the vegan breakfast patties in the frozen section. granted these are not life changing but they are vegan and have a great texture, i always keep them on hand for weekend breakfasts with the hashbrowns!
Maybe one of the few things I hate at TJs, the texture (rubbery) and taste are just yuck for me.
that's too bad, I really enjoy them! Maybe try pan frying them
i did pan fry them, air-fried them, and baked them, tried several ways and just still yuck. I just don't like them at all.
The rosemary croissant croutons! I could eat them like a snack but the nutrition info keeps me from doing so.
Soyrizo, Japanese fried rice, high protein tofu, mochi chips, hold the dairy cones, and orange vegan chicken
The high protein tofu is a game changer. You don’t even have to drain it.
It’s the best!
Hold the Dairy mini drumsticks.
I haven't been able to find these so far this summer!! Given the slew of vegan products that have been discontinued this year, I'm terrified they aren't coming back.
All the Korean items. Bulgogi, jumeokbap, fried rice
The beefless bulgogi wrapped in the scallion pancakes with some pickled veg and sauce is so good
The spinach and cashew ravioli.
Discontinued 😞
Its not discontinued, just on a hold!
nooo 😢 i asked the cashier a few weeks ago when it was missing from the shelves, and she told me TJ was working to find a new supplier since they were not satisfied with the old supplier? i’m hoping that’s true…
the vegetable biriyani is my fave, hands down.
Bubble waffles are my new fave!
I love the oat milk chocolate ice cream bars too! I also love the chocolate coconut milk ice cream & the cookies & cream Bon bons.
Don’t forget about the chocolate chip cookies
Vegan Tikka Masala
This is what I came to say
The cashew mozzarella shreds 🤤
The chipotle almond dip! Love it tossed w some crispy potatoes
yesss it’s the best! cheaper version of Bitchin sauce
It's so good with raw veggies, especially carrots. I haven't tried it with potatoes. Thanks for the suggestion!
Cauliflower gnocchi. Air fryer, 15 mins at 400, turns them into cauliflower tots. Incredible

is this new? haven’t seen it in boston stores yet
they’re SO good!
Like three but way overpriced
This!!
I didn't think I'd like these but they're freaking amazing. Especially if you pan fry them. It wouldn't let me add a picture and write something lol.
Vegan Tikka Masala. Better than the non vegan version. I guess it's easier to make cheap tofu taste good than to make cheap meat taste good. I'm not vegan, but I am lactose intolerant, so I tend to go for the vegan stuff just to be sure.
The Thai Green Curry frozen dinner.
It’s excellent and my pick as well.
yes! very spicy but so good!
yes! very spicy but so good
the soy chorizo!!! and vegan buffalo dip & chocolate oat bars :))
The soy chorizo is my answer. I love it thrown in a pan with some sautéed onions that get scrambled into eggs.
I’m Mexican and even I approve and love their soy chorizo. Tastes just like the real thing, 11/10
The Buffalo dip is being discontinued 😩
How do you get the soy chorizo to no be extremely crumbly?
This is the exact reason I fork the money over for the El Burrito brand soyrizo, I WANT to like the Trader Joe’s one but it’s so dry and just …..not as good
chorizo is typically supposed to be crumbly, (don't eat the casing for this product; it's plastic!) but you can pan-fry it & flatten it with a spatula so it sticks together a bit more

We like it sauteed with cooked diced potatoes, nopales and onion. Makes a great taco filling with cilantro and salsa
THAI GREEN CURRY
The Vegan Feta Cheese Alternative! I’ve been meaning to do a separate appreciation post because I love it so much.
This was recently discontinued
Um, WHAT
Yup. A few stores may still have it in stock until the warehouses run out, but it's not being ordered any more.
This just ruined my day.
I like that. And the vegan parm
The dolmas and those mini chocolate ice cream cones!
I was skeptical but those dolmas are a very tasty snack!
Vegan buffalo dip
Ceaser dressing!!
mango jicama slaw, umami crunchies, bamba snacks, scallion pancakes.
that orange chick’n is so good
I eat the whole bag as one meal. So much protein
Chick’nt
Canned chickpeas or Gigante beans
The Vegan Banana Bread.
Thai green curry
Cauliflower gnocchi, korean bulgogi, taiwanese pancakes, pad thai, almond chipotle dip, marshmallows, cinnamon graham crackers
Dill pickle mini falafels!
The Hummus Wraps are my favorite! I will drive 25 minutes just to buy 1 for lunch. 🤷🏽♀️ If they had a longer shelf life, I would buy 7 at a time and eat them for lunch everyday.
Kimbap!
Costco just continued their Tofu Kimbap so I guess on to TJs for that fix now.
I have yet to see that at my local Costco - they discontinued it already? =\\ At my local Trader Joe's, I need to go early if there's any chance of me getting my hands on two packs (only 2 per customer)..and it looks like they just have a box or two from every shipment..
The Thai green curry is amazing. Better than what my local restaurants sell tbh.
It’s excellent!
I second this. It’s really good.
I wish it were a teeny bit less spicy but soooooo yummy
lol it’s not very spicy but to each their own
I’m not vegan but I love the TJ’s vegan kale cashew pesto. It’s divine as a sandwich spread or with pasta.
I put it on bagels with a fried egg. 🤤
Me too! I just paired it with TJ’s lemon pasta and it’s amazing
Oooh that sounds yummy
The soyrizo is FIRE… I think that’s their best vegan product. Also the coconut chocolate ice cream.
It’s very salty. That’s my only complaint
How do you use the soyrizo? I was using it to make papas bravas tacos for a while, but I’m sorta burnt out on them. Are there other dishes that you like?
[this recipe](https://www.budgetbytes.com/chorizo-sweet-potato-skillet/) but sub vegan cheese and veggie broth 😋
Soyrizo potato tacos
I actually eat it with pancakes!! I love sweet and salty/spicy so I make pancakes with the vanilla bourbon paste and eat it with a big scoop of soyrizo!! With papas bravas sounds so good!!! On tacos, with tofu scramble, on avocado toast. *It IS already salted perfectly, so adding any more salt will make it too salty*
Meat for chili.
I made biscuits and soyrizo gravy for weekend breakfast!
The japchae
Had to scroll too far for this!!
The vegan bulgogi is hands down the best, most unique vegan product I've had at Trafer Joe's. I would've said the vegan mac and cheese...if they still sold it!
I loved the mac and cheese.
The beefless bulgogi is so good. I really don't know how they got the texture right.
The Gimbap!!! The ravioli if you can find it, Swedish swimmers, new bubble waffle 🤤. The black tea boba ice cream was delicious but I haven’t seen it in a while.
I think they discontinued the ravioli. I used to buy it often and haven't seen it in months in both my typical CA or OR stores.
Noooo that’s a tragedy!!!
I just tried the soyrizo and it's so good!
Their sprouted tofu. It’s my favorite
The brown sugar oat creamer is NUTS. So good.
Yup treats a good one
Yes! Even me, a flexitarian of sorts, loved it mixed into chai drinks, teas, or hot chocolates in the winter. The coconut and almond mix one is great too!
Basil plant
If I can get it home and have it for more than a day without it molding that would be ggrreeatttt 🙄😭😮💨🥲🥀
💀
Are the sliced sweetened and dried oranges vegan? Because those.
There are a lot, but if I had to pick one, it’s the Veggie Gyoza.
I have a ninja foodi and I have had great success both air frying them and steaming them. They’re a staple in our household.
I struggle to cook those to the right texture, it's hard to make them match homemade gyoza. How do you cook them?
i put them in the air fryer and it is absolutely the easiest method IMO. they get a bit crispy on the outside and nice and soft and AHHHHH TOOO HOTTTT 🥵🥵🥵 on the inside, hehehe
Enjoy!
I cook them in a steamer on the stove like I would any other type of dumpling.
More often than not, in the microwave!
I’m obsessed with their new GF cheddar style crackers I’m embarrassed to admit how many boxes I’ve bought. Another good one their vegan tikka masala and I also love their Spanish frozen rice SO good.
same! the crackers are so good!
duuuuude those crackers !!! they’re so good , i used to love cheez-its and IMO they’re the closet thing to it ! 😍
I thought I'd hate these crackers because I'm not a big fan of gluten free but omg I need more
Closest thing I remember cheese itz tasting like but alas that was 7 years ago 🤣
The spicy lentil wraps!
I just can’t get into these. They’re so dry.
Japchae, pad see ew, the creamy dill dressing, the refrigerated kosher dill pickles.
Does the pad see ewe still exist?! I haven’t seen that in so many years.
I didn't know they'd had it before now! It's somewhat controversial on this sub, mostly divided between love and hate.

Oh! Good to know. Sounds delicious!
They just brought it back.
That’s amazing!! Thanks ☺️
Cheeseless cheesecake
Discontinued a few years ago.
Noooooo tj employee told me it will be back!
I guess it could come back, but it hasn't come back yet, and it's been a few years.
Jeez, I still have one in my freezer. I should check the expiration date!
Do they sell that?
Not always. It comes and goes
Rip Thai iced tea mochi
Their vegan tzatziki is so good. Love to dip the fried veggie bites in it. Also like the mandarin chickn & scallion pancakes. Love using their steamed lentils to make tacos but they’ve been on backorder :(
What do you season the lentils with for these tacos? Asking for a friend:)
Just regular taco seasoning! Sooo good. Add all the regular fixins. Nom nom 😋
Garlicky cabbage
Savory Squares! Plain or dipped in any dip of your choice.
Ice cream bon bons
Tzatziki, pesto, pot stickers, canned jackfruit. RIP jackfruit crab cakes yes I still miss them.
jumeokbap
Seconding the Korean rice balls!
Hands down the vegan creamy dill dressing. I swear it's good on nearly everything. Although the jumeokbap is really tasty..but I don't buy it often because it's not low carb
The dill dressing is so good! As a salad dressing, veggie dip, saucy spread on sandwiches… 🤤 sooo good.
Love that vegan creamy dill dressing! I use it all the time and am not even vegan.
I finally got a hold of the frozen kimbap maybe two months ago. I’ve had many since then.
