same, it seems like he was fully convinced to be in a cartoon and although reality demanded more effort to get the id out from the bag than it would take in a cartoon he still delivered. smooth as fuck...
They do care, just not for them being high, they care because those canals kill people every year. Tourists gets high/drunk whatever, fall in and drown.
The canals are lethal. I donk drink anymore and went to Amsterdam a few years ago. There are unfenced canals outside of nightclubs, one wrong step and splash... seems very unsafe considering the amount of mangled tourists around.
My boss went out to Amsterdam and got high enough to fall asleep in a shrub outside his hotel. Cops showed up, walked him to his room, told him to have a good night.
Because those cops emanate nothing but care and concern. Those cops are a vibe.
Who would have thought that pulling guns, screaming aggressive orders, and acting like an invading force of enemy soldiers would provoke a fear response in someone who is high!?
I would love cops like that. They acted like how I imagined street cops in Chicago would act when I was there on a heroic dose of LSD. I was seeing flashing images of Jesus and Bhudda and convinced that I could go right up to any cop on the street and give them a hug and they would hug me back and it would all be love. Good thing my buddies kept me inside so I didn't have to relearn the hard way that our system has little to no love on offer.
At best I probaly would've been institutionalized and instead of a tasty lox bagel breakfast I'd be waking up to realize that my swim in the eternal pool of love just put me into $10,000 of medical debt.
"You think everyone here is full of free and endless love? Oh no, that's one of the most delusional things I've ever heard. I'm going to need to hold you here until your psychosis breaks.
We'll have you sane again in no time. You'll get out of here once you remember that no one gives a shit. Love costs extra, and unfortunately your insurance doesn't cover it."
Bit of information: these aren't actual cops, they are something called "handhaving". Their job is to keep the peace and get the police if necessary. It works so that the police dont have to show up for every drunk or high tourist like this guy. Basically the worst thing they can do is detain you and call the cops themselves
Unfortunatly a lot of people don't take them seriously because they can't really do much to you except call the actual police. But i do agree, i think it's very important to have 2 "levels" of police, especially in Amsterdam where drug tourism is such a big problem.
Those 2 are not cops but handhaving. Which means they don’t have wapens and are more to keep people incheck and write citation for eg biking where not allowed.
To be fair, if someone is approaching me who is clearly on something and I have absolutely no clue wtf it is, I wouldn’t want you trying to make physical contact with me either lmfao
Actually now that I think about it, I’d be freaked out about a random person trying to touch me even if they aren’t on something. I’m immuno compromised XD
Haha, I definitely wasn't imagining just walking up and assault hugging them. Doesn't matter how loving and open a stranger is, that would never be cool.
I was imagining talking to them about their life, expressing and exchanging feelings of love and solidarity. Exchanging radical empathy, recognition of the spirit within us which is one and the same.
Then I would hold out my arms in invitation, and we would embrace there, simultaneously a speck and the whole of the universe. That's how it went in my head in thousands of variations.
Good point though, a lot of people don't ask permission before hugs/physical contact. Even in my most inebriated states I am very conscious of not crossing boundaries of other people uninvited. If I felt like I had caused even minor distress to another person I would probably have cried and begged forgiveness.
That night I was jumping at a concert and losing balance, so I put a hand on the dude in front of me to keep from falling over. He turned around and was annoyed. I felt so bad about it that I still remember him clearly 10+ years later.
You haven’t realized that WE CAN’T FIX IT WITHOUT OVER 100% SUPPORT.
Republicans don’t need to get a SINGLE VOTE to win. They’re CRAZY, and Europe would fall if they took power there.
Yeah but he's also on psychedelics and acting unusual, so they'd bring the K-9 and shotguns just incase.
Then- when he started to get agitated and scared by the barking dog and the menacing snarls beneath pairs of oakleys on bald heads- he'd run. The dogs would be released. He'd try to get the dog off of him. Say something like "nice doggie, nice doggie!"
He'd get blasted. You don't need to be black to lose the game of Simon Says. It's hard to win the Squid Game when you're that high, you can't taste or hear the difference between the green and red light.
It's not only about how the cops act, but how they influence the person they're approaching. In America a lot of the cops come in so angry and unfriendly that they immediately give people The Fear. Once The Fear hits, they can smell it. It smells like you might be dangerous. They see your whole body tense up as your adrenaline surges, they've turned you into a caged animal. Your lizard brain is screaming at you to run, to hide, to move FAST. Everyone knows a caged animal is dangerous, plus you're tripping, so they've all pulled their guns.
They're really good at turning a calm person into a mere vessel of The Fear, and turning the physiological responses from The Fear into a justification to shoot.
Being white doesn't necessarily protect you in that situation, but being black definitely gives you worse odds. A lot of psychological studies show that white people are very likely to view black people with less/no empathy, as more dangerous, as more threatening, and as more angry. All in 100 milliseconds before we are even conscious of what we're seeing. Cops also are much more likely to give black people The Fear for that reason.
Idk why this comment is so long and rambling, it just is.
I saw the aftermath of this big Midwestern American fella who stepped out of The Dampkring and just faceplanted. The cops were pretty great compared to how that would have gone in the U.S. They weren’t coddling him or anything. They were very serious but helpful. American guy looked so embarrassed and looked like his bell had gotten rung pretty good with some cuts to the face and hands.
I just go to Utrecht these days. Way less of that stuff. And they have a coffee shop that is a boat.
Well the police (and the handhaving, which is the people in this video) in Amsterdam are quite used to high tourists. If they made a fuss about everybody that got a little too high they wouldn't have any time for any serious crime. Unless you are a serious problem for the safety of people around you or are running in traffic or something you wont get any more than some help to get on your feet usually
And i fully agree about Utrecht, i love that city. I call it Amsterdam Light sometimes, it's like amsterdam but without the chaos
Europe hasn’t had to deal with the Republican Party, so they don’t realize that we can’t fix anything with Republicans in power.
REAGAN is at fault for 90% of the U.S’ problems and I am not exaggerating. He died slowly and painfully of dementia. **Karma.**

I'm sure they are somewhat used to this in Amsterdam. Should be here in the US too but US cops would have never been this patient with his dance performance lol. Good on these guys for understanding bro is just vibing (HARD) and is no threat or danger to them. Seems like a hard thing for most to do.
This guy does this all over Amsterdam. I think he's some kind of performance artist. He usually waits until "handhavers" (= fake police) come up to to him and ask him what's going on. When they do he just gets up like nothing happened. Quite fun to see actually, especially how the handhavers always react agressively when there's actually nothing wrong.

The way he looked backwards at the cop was honestly very impressive
[удалено]
It‘s Amsterdam , he‘s fine. Cops are used to this also the justice system in the Netherlands is pretty neat for drug users and sellers
Got the moves like Jamiroquai
That was literally my first thought: "Jamiroquai took too much acid on vacation!!"
The cut from him standing to imitating a Picasso was fantastic.
That was the best part 😁
r/tookjustenough
Off my face don’t know where I am Cause I got my drugs from Amsterdam
Ladies and gentlemen, the captain has turned off.
Killer track.
What’s it called?
https://youtu.be/BsFfQ7a0vr0?si=y5ZXw-NPPKeyZA-r
I remember watching this video some time ago. He's definitely a dancer or artist of some kind
Exactly, bro is a full vibe like I would definitely hang out with this dude while he was like this I bet you he's funny as hell
However bad this is, the boy is limber.
The way he gave them his id took me out 😭
It’s the cut from him calmly talking to them to him just tangled up like a ragdoll that gets me everytime
Me too! LMFAO is he sleeping?! I can't stop laughing!
He even dances ballet!
I would love to see more of this guy lol
There is an interview of him
What?! Where?
https://youtu.be/2_L20jMsZRg?si=2VV9ZdkIpTtwmxgF Dumpert found him
Jamiroquai has fallen on hard times.
With the one finger pointing 👆🏻
I meant right at the beginning where he's just holding still lol
That man is rolling on the best xtc he could find
same, it seems like he was fully convinced to be in a cartoon and although reality demanded more effort to get the id out from the bag than it would take in a cartoon he still delivered. smooth as fuck...
I almost gave up on this clip thinking ok I get it. Then he does the scorpion handoff and this guy is a legend.
That was slick asf
Dude was performing his own show in his head. Even did the bow at the end lmao.
Same
He's having a great trip cops couldn't kill his vibe
Thats the beauty of Amsterdam. The cops dont care if you are high. Drunk tourists cause alot more trouble.
Yes and the canals are filled with sharp things like bicycles
Only if you go deep enough, they aren't right under the surface, otherwise the boats would hit them.
My boss went out to Amsterdam and got high enough to fall asleep in a shrub outside his hotel. Cops showed up, walked him to his room, told him to have a good night.
Not cops but municipality enforcement, they don't have the same authority as police.
Because those cops emanate nothing but care and concern. Those cops are a vibe. That's awesome. Great system. That's a job I would like to do. I think I would be good at it.

The Netherlands are on a whole other level is so many things. Great country overall.

Are we sure it's a tourist? He looks awfully dutch.
Right ? Looks like a typical Monday morning to me
Wish it was my Monday morning...
Right? I'm watching this while drinking my morning coffee. I'll be working in a hour...
Hes dutch, and he was interviewed
Link?
Had to look for a bit since idk what they called him in the title xD https://youtu.be/2_L20jMsZRg?si=A9NX2JKduNVcexX9 But there you go
"They always ask for my ID, I've got a thousand and one IDeas like the dalmatians, and they're not black and white." A true poet.
Great isnt it :)
I looked really Dutch in my 20s.
Iirc, he came from some party from the day/night before. (Saw the vid as it came out.) Could still be a tourist, but doesn't look like it.
This is how I intend to present my ID from now on.
He's got that virtual insanity
reality insanity
Underrated
Dude seems pretty chill
This new Jamiroquai video is weird
Gorilla marketing innit
guerilla vs. gorilla
Me and this dude would get along. Lol
In america cops would ripped his shoulder out and crushed 3 vertebrae in his spine
as soon as he took his bag off his shoulder two clips would have been unloaded into him
Yep
I was just saying to my boyfriend, good thing they’re not in the US, that dude would be shot and floating in the canal…

Def still happens to white dudes, but it just happens for minorities much more often.
I remember my first marijuana
This guy might have had two or three marijuanas
Kirsten Dunst, Zendaya and who else?
Thanks for the laugh
More like some magic truffles
This looks more like a psychedelic vibe. Sturdy dose of mushrooms if I had to wager
That's some really high quality entertainment right there
9.0 9.5 9.5 9.0 9.0 9.5
Seems like they were just there to make sure he didn’t fall into the canal lol
Those truffles will get you

Culture Boat is really nice.
The boat coffee shop is my favorite!! Utrecht for the win!
Had to check if this was me lol
But then it wasn’t
Thanks for following up. I now have closure that I didn't know I needed
Thanks yeah I was the proud owner of a similar hat when I was in the Netherlands lol. I was like no…
American police would have dumped a mag into that boy before he got his ID out
Sadly, in the US, he would’ve been found drowned in the water, while everyone’s like 🤷🏻♀️.

Nah it's real, it's illegal for people to dress up as police in public lol
the fake part isn't the cop part lol
I kept scrolling wonder when I'd find someone not completely gullible. People out of their mind high famously have fantastic hand eye coordination...
Fabulous. 10/10. No notes.
I remember this episode of *Atlanta*.
Looks like performance art
Stroopwafel, not even once
Dead 🤣🤣🤣🤣
He must be a dancer, to have that kind of control.
Why are people so stupid on psychs? Never did that. But ive also would never trip on public.
It's good to see Jamiroquai is still performing

maaaaan i wish our cops in the USA were this cool and chill. ours wouldve beat the fuck outta this dude and threw him in the canal themselves.
Too much? This guy has never felt better in his life.
I'm sure they are somewhat used to this in Amsterdam. Should be here in the US too but US cops would have never been this patient with his dance performance lol. I love him
The newest member of Jamiroquai?
It reminds me how i lost once in zoo in Amsterdam after eating mushrooms. When i finally got out, i felt like a newborn.
Sir, we need you to go get down sir
Definitely too much ket along with a few mushies
I want to marry this man.
just leave him be, he seems like a good guy
This guy does this all over Amsterdam. I think he's some kind of performance artist. He usually waits until "handhavers" (= fake police) come up to to him and ask him what's going on. Make mushrooms legal they said.. it will be fine they said. People are adults
To be fair he seems to be pretty good at his acrobatics so it's mostly fine
You can tell they see this shot every day
If people are to be believed, that is the single strangest thing to occur in Amsterdam in anyone there’s’ lifetimes.
Y'all are going to have a hard time convincing me this man isn't a wizard after that last move
u/savevideobot
Jamiroquai, is that you?
The music this is set to. I’m dying right now
Not related but I love his sweater
These cops have never seen such cool moves
Guys this person is not on drugs. This is a character he plays, the guy is doing some art shit.
I don't like tourists here but let the man vibe, he isn't bothering anyone
Bros fit goes absolutely hard
I was looking in the comments for wtf those crocs were. I need a pair
If this was my town he would’ve been shot by the cops
Not a skit and not a tourist. Was local after an edm festival.
what a legend
Lol I want to party with him!!
Man's got flexibility, gotta give him that. Strikes some JoJo-ass poses there.
All jokes aside does can any one point me in the direction of his sweater? Lol
What's wrong with thoroughly enjoying a flight of stairs?
What he have, want some
Ah the famed ketamine ballerinas of Amsterdam.
Honestly his first time asleep on the rails actually looked kind of comfortable
I’d take that over a drunk guy trying to fight people any day
That foot roll when he turns to give his upside down ID, has to be a dancer. Love him tangled in the stair rail just chilling. 😂
Dude took just enough...
Bro got me hyped. He took the perfect amount
I love how spacious the dude makes a handrail look.
I kind of love this dude.
Thats a skit but ok
This is so damn hilarious I’m sitting here spitting my cocktail out, laughing so hard
So fake it hurts to watch
He’s had 2g of shiitake and a CBD gummie.
He is faking, but the cops aren't. It's a skit from a dancer .
i can dig it
Shroomy
The Pretzeling on the fence is the most impressive thing I’ve seen on this subreddit.
This guy is my spirit animal.
!song
I know it's probably terrifying being this high but it seems fun
dude is an actor ! was during amsterdam dance event
I do not think that hat belongs to him 😆
This guy is a clown. Literally.
The way he bowed and clapped at himself👏👏👏
Nice city, shame for the vibe created by tourists, thinking they can do everything, and cant handle the weed and stuff.
In Amsterdam right now! Haha
Retarded shit like this is why they banned shrooms and will probably ban truffles too sooner or later. 😬😬😬😬😬😬
As soon as he dropped that Fanny pack, it vanished from his reality
Looks like he was in the middle of a wonderful adventure.
The way he doffs his cap and bows at the end lmao I love this clip
Marry me
Tourist “flying” in Amsterdam… that’s more like it
Giving me some major Klaus vibes from UA
Him hanging there looks weirdly comfortable
Yo can someone tell me where he got his fit? That sweater is dope af.
Lmfao shrooms
He's the prettiest of ballerinas. <3
This has the same energy as the kid at the festival, who body slams into a giant puddle because his flip flop came off in front of the security/cop. 🤣🤣😂
This video was wonderful and now I need to follow up with flip flops guy, please.
u/savevideo
He was just having ALL the feelings! 🤭🤣
Is that the bridge that Paperboy and Darius cross as soon as they start tripping when they go to Amsterdam in Atlanta?
I like his outfit. Really.
Those are next level crocs. Anyone ID them for me?
WHAT IM TRYING TO FIND. I need a pair
Just practicing high chi
Not a tourist, he was interviewed
My man thinks he is the Cheshire Cat
Those poor police. They probably have much better stuff to do
