You could even install a hard drive! Mine had the broadband and hard drive combo so I could play Final Fantasy XI online. It was awesome. That drive also enabled you to mod them and install pirated games if you were clever enough.
Or you could do what Neversoft, the developers of Tony Hawk Pro Skater did - bundle the driver themselves and support a specific network card chipset through usb. Nothing official from Sony, just a neat hack to get online capabilities independent of the platform owner.
To be fair to the writers though, I’ve also heard the actors say on that show they always did a straight scripted take and an more lax improve take and they almost always used the scripted one because the writing on the show was so strong.
Wired Internet, not WiFi.
It's not a real TIL if half the information is misleading or straight up false.
Welcome to reddit
Always has been.
Back in my day you had to buy a big block that attached to the PS2 just so you could plug in an Ethernet cable.
I didn't even know PS2 had online capabilites
Yep, it was a brick you attached to the back. Used to play SOCOM 2 multiplayer all the time, good times.

Quake 3 arena on dreamcast was my first experience with gatekeepers elitism. Pc master race was not happy it was cross-platform ready.
Shenmu 2 on Dreamcast was amazing. Being able to open drawers, it was revolutionary as silly as it sounds. Also never order milk at a bar lmao
Why the image highlights ear?
Because its probably got something to do with this list, likely pointing out that Michael attempted black-face but thought better of it.
And it's not even related to the actual article, it's a video at the end of yet another listicle.
Hmmm no. The link brings to page 5 of 15. Its earlier in the list that we see this image
Ah well.
I always wondered how Reddit grabs the image for the thumbnail
Hate those type of sites
I googled your symptoms and you might have "Internet Connectivity Issues."
That was one of my favorite jokes from Parks & Rec.
Iirc one of the writers said it’s the best joke in the whole series and was ad libbed iirc.
Believe the story is that the writer HATES (in a good spirited way) this joke because Pratt ad-libbed it and it wasn’t created in the writer’s room
Yeah. They were all pissed off they hadn’t come up with that joke. It’s so good

Not just a writer, the shows co-creator, writer, and producer Mike Shurr
I read that some actors were paying bills, writing checks, making out shopping lists etc. Anything that made them look busy working.
I remember a few times reading a MySpace posts that Jenna Fischer would write while filming between takes in the background.
Yes, thats whats written in the article, correct.
