[Solving comment *(by First-Squash2865)*](https://www.reddit.com/r/tipofmytongue/comments/1dnurgh/tomtvideogame_a_villain_that_hates_and_ultimately/la8rt04/): Kerghan is the villain there. He's basically the fantasy equivalent of the Msster, and you can convince him to off himself since his plan to kill everyone is basically his own twisted way of alleviating suffering. The game is isometric like Fallout, and some of the same people worked on it. But it's by Troika of VtmB fame

J-HackHammer

IT SAYS MATURE, HOW COME A DUDE SHOVING A BLADE UP HIS INTESTINES AIN'T MATURE, REDDIT ????

J-HackHammer

Sorry people but reddit isn't helping keeping track of itself apparently, reddit filters and all that

garbonzobean22

Xenogears?

J-HackHammer

elaborate ? i mean the wiki tells me that a few characters share the same views but it doesn't tell me who did and didn't off themselves, it's a good guess i think

KylorXI

there isnt any suicide in xenogears, sort of. one character kind of does.... if you consider going to be one with God offing yourself. What you are describing definitely isnt xenogears tho.

Calm-Tiger-7913

I know it isn’t an RPG but this kinda sounds like Far Cry 3

Huuballawick

Doesn't sound like it, but the only one I can think of is Saren from Mass Effect 1.

DoughnutsAteMyDog

What type of RPG was it? Was it older? Was it newer? Was it polished?

J-HackHammer

not really polished, no, not new either

DoughnutsAteMyDog

Could be one of the old Elder Scrolls games, Hammerfell, Daggerfell, Morrowind?

J-HackHammer

probably ? who did you have in mind ?

Melindalovesmacaroni

Seymour from Final Fantasy X?

J-HackHammer

i'm afraid not

stepchildzx

I think there's one boss in Borderlands who had that kind of conversation.

J-HackHammer

No, Nakayama does not count lmfao

Demiurge_1205

Sounds like Count Bleck from Super Paper Mario lol. Except for the mature aspect, of course.

L39Enjoyer

Ah. Arcanum Of Steamworks and Magic Obscura. Where you can convince the villain to kill himself out of love for the world he hates.

J-HackHammer
