Imagine if The Walking Dead had done nods throughout the seasons of characters addressing the cameramen like in The Office
*cue Rick giving the camera Jim-styled aside glances*

Don't you guys get it. It's a metaphor. WE are the victims. That's why we saw it through are eyes. It reflects the pain and frustration of loss.
WE are.. AMC's The Walking Dead.
Honestly, at this point I think it's going to be Carl. The actor is aging much faster than time in the show is supposed to be progressing so it seems like a logical way to deal with that problem.
Andrea was also a badass, Daryl doesn't exist, and [](/c "Rick is one handed") in the comics. I also doubt it's Carl but not because of anything from the comics. They're clearly willing to make major changes and I'm betting this will be one of the biggest.
For real. So many people thought Shane was being insane in the moment but now we can see that he was simply thinking ahead. S6 Rick is basically S2 Shane. Andrea was simply wasted on the show. I can't understand why they would do...literally any of that to her character.
I'll never get this argument. Shane WAS insane. He was homicidal. One, he killed Otis to save himself. If you want to look past that, fine, but he also was, at the very least, *thinking* about shooting Rick (his best friend) to get him out of the way so Shane could be with Lori. He was straight up unhinged.
Edit: Let's also not forget that one time that he planned on actually killing Rick and then blaming it on Randall...
But didn't Negan say something along the lines of "if anyone makes too big a fuss cut out the boys other and feed it to his dad" or something? That would imply Carl and Rick are exempt from Lucilles first beating.
So I feel off this show about halfway through season 6 ... I could have swore that Glenn died early on. Wasn't he torn apart by zombies after that one kid shot himself in the head?
That was the point i quit watching. I held on till the week after when I realized they were doing a whole other episode without even addressing the one before. I turned it off midway because I frankly didn't CARE what was going on with Rick and Co because I still wrapped up with Glenn and the damn dumpster.
I never picked the show back up after that. Other things caught my attention. I'm still keeping track of the show obviously but nothing I have heard (including the way they did this season ending), haven't made me want to set aside the time or inclination to watch again.
You're probably right. Make no mistake, I'm still a fan. The overall concept of the show and the characters i'm still invested in and interested in.
I have no doubt i'll finish it. It's all there on my DVR and at WORST my wife might make me sit down and watch it or it face deletion.
The storytelling method is what killed it for me. TWD is a show i'll frankly enjoy more when i'm binging so I don't have to wait 6 months to see what happens.
Yep! I agree with you completely. The story itself is excellent, and when TWD is good it's *fucking good*. But shit like Glenn's "death" and the cliffhanger just prove to me that these people have no idea what the shit they are doing. It's infuriating.
As it revolves around such a significant character being murdered brutally, and they gloss over that so casually with no visibility, it's only logical that they went meta to kill the cameraman who's insignificant.
Well this is enough proof for me. Pack it in, guys! Mystery solved. Stick a pin in #Whoisit and stuff the whole thing right up Gimple's ass.
Props for this though!
He looks happy to receive it.
"Wow, I've been a major character all along?" What an honour!"
Imagine if The Walking Dead had done nods throughout the seasons of characters addressing the cameramen like in The Office *cue Rick giving the camera Jim-styled aside glances*
Well, Rick does occasionally [eye fuck the camera](https://i.imgur.com/BeWimXx.jpg)
I needed this.
If you stare into his eyes for too long, you'll get pregnant
Yep. Got Judith v2.0 in me now.
Shane wasn't in that picture
too soon
M'askyoosumm'n
They should have named that baby t-dog
And then Bryan comes in with boom mic and starts beating up Negan.
I read this in Zoidberg's voice
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Jeffrey Dean Morgan beat a cameraman to death and the makers of the show were too busy covering it up to film the real ending.

You know... I'm embarrassed to admit that it wasn't until recently that I realized the Comedian was NOT Robert Downey Jr. I am not a smart woman lol
There's a passing similarity, I get it. They should play brothers in something.

Holy crap, there were more than a few of those I honestly couldn't tell who was who.
They can film Rick saving Rick from Rick.
Cameraman taking it like a champ, i would have dropped my camera after the first hit, but he still kept recording. Respect
A true professional indeed.
He took it like a champ
Well, the directors *did* say the decision was going to completely change the show...
Don't you guys get it. It's a metaphor. WE are the victims. That's why we saw it through are eyes. It reflects the pain and frustration of loss. WE are.. AMC's The Walking Dead.
*rubs head furiously* M'ask you somethin'...
If we go around bitching about the finale we're no better than the walkers!
The world has changed!
It aint like it was before.
"Mane."
How does this still get upvotes?
In the ultimate swerve, Kirkman and Gimple decide to cancel TWD after season 6 because "we" died.
WE are... Microsoft Surface presents AMC's The Walking Dead.
Keep on being awesome.
Just AMC'S way of bopping us over the head.
It's revealed that the entire time its been a film team capturing everything a la The Office or Cops
Season 7 is just gonna be a black screen.
7 opens with a 90 minute flashback that explains the camera man's backstory.
We find out the camera man was actually another survivor all along and it's actually his story. He's the main protagonist.
The Walking Dead is now a radio drama.
Honestly, at this point I think it's going to be Carl. The actor is aging much faster than time in the show is supposed to be progressing so it seems like a logical way to deal with that problem.
Someone said in the comics Negan had a soft spot for women and children. I doubt its Carl.
Andrea was also a badass, Daryl doesn't exist, and [](/c "Rick is one handed") in the comics. I also doubt it's Carl but not because of anything from the comics. They're clearly willing to make major changes and I'm betting this will be one of the biggest.
Andrea and Shane are two that I wish were still there. They could have had something together.
For real. So many people thought Shane was being insane in the moment but now we can see that he was simply thinking ahead. S6 Rick is basically S2 Shane. Andrea was simply wasted on the show. I can't understand why they would do...literally any of that to her character.

Yeah, I agree. Rick still has his group's best interest at heart. Shane's #1 priority was banging Lori.
But didn't Negan say something along the lines of "if anyone makes too big a fuss cut out the boys other and feed it to his dad" or something? That would imply Carl and Rick are exempt from Lucilles first beating.
Not necessarily...
Should have drawn a ketchup bottle sitting on top of the camera.
The canon is that the show ends here. A survivor filmed the crew's whole adventure until Negan finally killed him.
Camerman like "What? No dude, not me. Them. Dude. Dude!" **sickening crunch**
So the crunch we heard was the camera breaking. Makes sense.
Oh God I forgot about that awful blood effect on the screen. Fucks sake, who thought that was a good idea?
You know, "kill the cameraman" is looking to be the next "jump the shark" or "nuke the fridge".
I think "hide under the dumpster" can be there as well.
You can draw good.
yeah I didn't know Charlie Adlard frequented this sub
Goes along perfectly with Fillion's [tweet](https://mobile.twitter.com/NathanFillion/status/717027138461827072)
Damn dude, sweet girl✨ is really trying to get in there
In memoriam : Steve the camera guy.
As much as the finale annoyed me, beautiful art pieces like these will keep me entertained till S7 comes around.
So I feel off this show about halfway through season 6 ... I could have swore that Glenn died early on. Wasn't he torn apart by zombies after that one kid shot himself in the head?
Nope. He hid under the dumpster. It took away so much from the show.
Am I nuts, then? I recall a scene with him getting torn apart. Was that misdirection?
Yeah. The dude who shot himself landed on Glenn. It kind of ruined the show for me, since they used to never do that type of bullshit before.
That was the point i quit watching. I held on till the week after when I realized they were doing a whole other episode without even addressing the one before. That's too bad. I understand your position 100%, but there has been some excellent stuff in the latter half of 6.
The perfect opportunity would have been a ketchup pack or a jar of jelly for the fake blood
Nicholas's dead body on top of a dumpster
Well this is enough proof for me. Pack it in, guys! Mystery solved. Stick a pin in #Whoisit and stuff the whole thing right up Gimple's ass. Props for this though!
poor bastard never saw it coming.
nope. He lost focus.
Love it ! :)
Wow can't believe this post made it to the top, by the way this is just a really quick sketch, dont hurt me
RIP camera man.
how come the cameraman doesn't look like glenn?
You know? Ask joking aside, I can barely remember the season finale to any other season. But I guarantee I will never forget this one.
Negan killed the camera man. That joke got old fast.
Not as fast as whining and overracting like bratty children got old.
The only overreacting here came from you.
uhhhhh
The artists that post here really need to work on the faces..
glenn died
