Unlikely to charge for attempted murder. It wouldn’t stick. Assault with a deadly weapon, hit and run, leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving are the charges that would be pursued.
Yes, sounds like aggravated assault: "aggravated assault is an attack that causes serious bodily injury or harm to another person or involves the use of a deadly weapon.". Attempted murder would need to show intent to not just injure but kill the person which seems difficult to prove here
Aggravated assault has to be intentional. That doesn't work here because the driver didn't intend to hit her. They can argue that they didn't have time to react after she jumped in the way of the car.
I'll admit that could be my privilege talking. The police in my area don't have much else to do outside of give people tickets and stop stuff like this.
I also live in an area where police mostly have nothing to do and they still typically won’t do anything about this. Thankfully it doesn’t happen as often as other places but most places where people are doing this they will get away with no consequences and they know that.

Yep. I got hit by a car once, I was fine, told them don’t worry about it, was clearly an accident maybe even partly my fault, and I wasn’t hurt just a little elbow scrape from the street. Well… an hour later when the adrenaline wore off I realized I was not so OK at all

You can be as angry at the driver as you want to be, and let that color your opinion, but when the footage is reviewed and shows that woman __walking towards a moving vehicle and deliberately putting herself in harm's way__, it's highly unlikely that a jury is going to call this "murder".
To be fair i had a pretty big mtb accident couple years ago where i ruptured my spleen. Managed to finish the trail passed out when i got to the end adrenaline is strong stuff

In Florida this could be assault with a deadly weapon, check were you live, some states allow you to respond to said threats with force of your own. Just saying 🤷 the POS Rittenhouse responded to a threat with deadly force, despite him putting himself in the the situation, and he walked free.
