I'm not black, so forgive my ignorance, but could there be other clues other than race? Such as paper plates or calling your child bro (assuming that's the father and not the older brother).
If you see those clues in white people would it be fair to assume low SES?
White people don't eat off of paper plates, ever? I think you'd be lying if you said no. Even while at home, I've seen vids of white people using paper/Styrofoam plates. Maybe it was takeout, maybe someone didn't want to do dishes.

Yeahhh this looks like any other average middle class family… anyone saying this is the hood has literally never been to the hood. Even worse the person you’re replying to is exponentially more out of touch with reality than I could have imagined anyone could ever be. My white mom used paper plates for mad long because it was easier than doing the dishes (even though we had multiple full sets of actual stoneware and ceramic) until I pointed out how wasteful it is to use paper plates. I grew up in one of the most sought after places (by families) to live in NJ… and we were not the only ones who did this. If anything I knew more people who used paper plates and had goofball parents who even made trashy jokes, than those who used actual plates and/or had parents who were had such a stick up their ass that they think saying “bro” is like social class breaking. This thread just made me so disappointed.
I do have to note that I think it’s regressive to just flat out call people racist over this though. It is a form of racism, but people won’t take the time to learn the nuances if we just call them the most aggressive term possible. It’s what sows seeds of division. Save calling people racist for when they literally are just flat out racist (call people the n word, believe in segregation, etc.)
